  1. May I suggest that if any of the servers are down for any length of time, as they have been this morning. Firestorm at least make an announcement in the news thread to keep us informed of the situation. It's called 'Customer Service'
  2. So devoting all efforts and resources into scripting a raid is more important than the bread and butter stuff like ... a working calendar, working class quests, working profession quests, working world quests. I would like to point out that scripting a raid is pretty pointless if guilds do not have the facilities to organise a raid group. i.e. a working calendar!!! In my humble opinion Firestorm have their priorities all wrong. People will leave Firestorm if there is noting to do and what good is working raid if very few people can actually get in it?
  3. Has the random battleground reward system changed? No longer getting anything for random BG losses except HP - No AP, No Gear, No Gold etc
  4. Apologies if this question has already been asked and answered somewhere. I can't find any reference and there are too many change logs to wade through Question - Was the Battleground reward system changed in the last patch? Until the latest update, even when you lost you got AP points, HP, gold or gear. In the past couple of days, I have unfortunately been on the losing side in 5 or 6 battles and to the best of my knowledge, have received nothing at all bar HP. No treasure of any description as was the case in earlier versions. Is this intentional or is it a bug?
  5. BTW Gnoworries is level 100 on Gul'Dan not level 90 as it says here <<< . Fix the calendar !!! Can you at least manage that?
  6. oh and for the record jeyeljeyel - My original report was indeed a ticket for one issue. It was in plain English and quite clearly outlined the problem. It was easy to understand so why wasn't it dealt with properly? I only supplied further information when asked to do so and was then punished for trying to be helpful .I suggest you train your people to read properly and you should have more consideration for the people that keep your server alive!
  7. I posted this in the Bug Tracker Realm: Gul'dan Character (name, faction, level...): Twangster, Alliance, 100 I purchased the follower Solar Priest Vayx from the NPC at Lion's Watch, Tanaan Jungle for 1,000 Apexis Crystals. When I returned to my Garrison, Solar Priest Vayx not only appeared on my list of followers, I even sent him on a short mission. The mission was completed successfully. The next day when I logged in I noticed that Solar Priest Vayx was no longer in my list of followers however, the 1,000 Apexis Crystals I paid were still missing from my total. I reported this to a GM who instructed me to put it in the 'Bug Tracker' Ryuzaki L replied I have not this problem Are you sure you have to use the contract that is in your bag ? status changed from new report to waiting more informations I then posted the following Yes - I bought the follower and used the item I was given - I then went back to my garrison and used the follower mission table - Solar Priest Vayx was in my list of followers, so I sent him on a quest - The quest completed successfully. When I logged in the next day he was gone. There are quite a few problems with the Tanaan jungle and shipyards but they seem to apply to all of my characters that have built a shipyard and created Lion's watch in Tanaan jungle. These problems are varied and include - bugged dailies - no mobs to collect items from for daily quests - overly long respawn times for the mobs that do exist. The daily for collecting crystals doesn't work because nothing happens when you click on them etc- I had the same sort of problem buying shipyard plans - I purchased and learned the battleship plans but couldn't build one as the only ship I can construct is the destroyer of which I already have two - I am unable to equip the blast furnace - The initial naval quest required to progress shipyards has never been available to me, so my shipyards progress has stopped. But as I said the same is true for several of my characters. By way of trying to be helpful and thinking that if I went into more detail it would help Firestorm resolve the problems - I then posted the following.... Please allow me to elaborate. ... Quest Tooth & Claw Tanaan Jungle - The only mobs that drop the teeth are Murkhides that live on the beach at the Southern end of the jungle and 2 spiders that spawn near the Horde camp. I have been logging out and back in at 5 - 10 minute intervals most of the morning and have thus far collected only 50 of 100 teeth required, as the mobs seem to be on a very long respawn time. Other players also patrol this area regularly, therefore the demand far outweighs the supply. (Tanaan Jungle ) The Battle For The West - The yellow ? is on the map but there is no sign of the hand in - Exarch Maladar. Disarming Sha'nar - Nothing happens when you click on the crystals. A Little Wetwork - There are 2 Elite mobs at the Iron Docks that did drop the manifests required of which I have 8 of the required 15, however for some time now, these mobs no longer drop the manifests. Breaking Their Fel Bonds - I cannot find any mobs that drop the required Fel Blood. (Shipyard) Destroying The Competition - I built the destroyer to complete part one, but the mission 'A Little Combat' has never been available - I checked the naval missions map several times a day for at least 2 weeks after getting this quest and have yet to see that quest. There was another quest to equip a blast furnace that I forget the name of as I abandoned it. Nothing happened when you tried to equip the item and bofore you ask - yes the slot was unlocked on my ship There is also another quest in the Tanaan Jungle - you have to collect I think it was 20 blades. I could find only 2 mobs that dropped them, both of which were ridiculously over powered elites that required a group to kill. So that is a non starter too jeyeljeyel then assigned the ticket to himself and posted the following... Hello, I barely can't read your report, it's like blocs of reports not organized at all. I can't work with this, please respect the ticket formatting and create one ticket per issue. In the correct status changed from waiting more informations to invalidategory. This is Firestorms idea of Customer Service? Support? Call it what you will, it is in fact Laziness, Incompetence and Arrogance all rolled into one. So I guess the moral of the story is that there is no point in contacting a GM in game - They will 'Pass The Buck' When using the 'Bug Tracker' keep it simple and only present one problem at a time, in as few words as possible because the Firestorm people don't appear to have the mental capacity to read full sentences let alone fix any issues. We still have the same bugs now that were reported over a year ago because Firestorm are not interested in fixing anything. They just want your money. Pay to be a VIP? Are you serious? Why subscribe to broken servers with sub standard customer support?
  8. Someone said in Guild chat yesterday, that when they transferred a character from WoD to Legion, all of their gold was carried across too. I didn't think to ask them if they were referring to that one character's gold, or their entire amount of gold for all of their character's? Can someone please clarify this for me? Thanks
  9. On my last server, we had a debate that raged on for a long time ... should the server be PVP or PVE? The reason many people joined that server was that it was one of the few Vanilla PVE servers in existence. Most Vanilla servers back then were PVP. What makes me laugh about this PVE v PVP argument is that the majority of the pro PVP'ers, if they were honest are not really interested in a fair fight. They just enjoy ganking lowbies. Let's face it. Everyone on a PVE server can flag themselves for PVP so what is the problem? There isn't one really, they just don't like that idea because they would have to fight people their own level. I do like the idea of cross-faction PVE realms - Pax Vobiscum Baby
  10. As we all know there are many bugged quests in all of the Draenor zones and in many other zones too. We also know that the Devs are preoccupied with the new Legion expansion and as such are doing very little to fix Draenor for the time being. So until such time as the devs are able to switch their attention back to fixing the multitude of bugs on currently existing servers I have a suggestion. A 'Bugged Quest Completer' Perfect for these problems of being unable to locate the hand in. I have experienced this approach first hand on another server and it worked well. I have no idea how they accomplished it but I do know they had a database of known bugged quests that was referenced when you clicked a complete quest icon once you had completed such a quest. If the quest was known to be bugged it would auto complete and you would get the appropriate reward and follow up quest should there be one. If the quest was not a known bugged quest you would get a message to that effect and nothing further would happen. There would obviously be grey areas such as the quest 'Finding A Foothold' - The first character I attempted this quest on, had already built the level 2 Garrison and the hand in ? seemed to be inside one of the town hall walls. However, I was able to complete this quest when I noticed a complete quest button - Brilliant! - On another toon I managed to complete and hand in this quest to Prophet Valen who was located in the Lunarfall Ruins as he should have been, before I levelled my Garrison to level 2. However, on my next attempt, Prophet Valen was not where he should have been at the Lunarfall Ruins although the yellow ? was there. I have spotted him at another location but was unable to hand in. I went ahead and built my level 2 Garrison and the yellow ? was in the same spot inside my Town Hall walls, as it was on my first attempt. Unfortunately I have been unable to replicate whatever it was I did to get the complete button to appear and so that quest remains as completed in my log, along with a few others I have not been able to hand in. Please give us a way to auto complete these pesky quests that prevent quest chain progress!
  11. Thanks for the heads up Titanfurrywl I will take your advice. I didn't notice a suggestions forum - duh

  13. Wanna fix the other patches first?
  14. Thanks for your comments Kilydan. I have no doubt at all that the Dev's are indeed working hard and that they obviously have to prioritise what needs fixing next. My point here is that maybe they have too many problems on too many servers to fix? I am simply suggesting that they concentrate on fixing one server at a time and instead of opening new servers like Stormrage for example, thus increasing the workload on the already hard pressed dev's, surely it would have made more sense to fix the servers they already had up and running? I can see why they rolled out a TBC server and why they would want a Vanilla server with Molten's recent problems plus Ascension and Nostalrius getting shut down. However, in my humble opinion, they would attract and keep more players if they concentrated on quality as opposed to quantity.
  15. It's time for a reality check here guys. Personally, I feel that Firestorm is taking on too much and getting itself tied up in knots. I'm sure there are many that like me, feel that Firestorm should not have released realms with so many problems? Unfortunately they did give us the buggiest realms I have ever played on, and let me tell you that I have played on many servers, including retail of course. Furthermore, they don't seem to be making much progress with the fixes and scripting. Is this because they don't have the expertise or because they are stretched too thin, trying to fix too many problems on too many servers? I came to Firestorm because I wanted to see what WOD and MOP were like. I left retail when MOP was rolled out, having played since Vanilla. So I joined Gromnash and started levelling. It has been such an anti climax to get a few of my toons to level 100 to find that there is so much that just doesn't work. You can live with the odd broken quest as you level up but when vital parts of the game are simply missing! No treasure, Garrisons don't work,so you can only build level one or two buildings. No Sky Shards to collect, so no fighting those dragons that drop mounts. Pathfinder isn't scripted, so no flying in Draenor, ever! Broken dungeons like Uttgarde Pinnacle for example where you can't get to the last boss. Once again a blow for mount collectors. So it goes on and on and on ...... You can't even take out a ticket now it's been disabled and the bug tracker doesn't work either. So it seems the wall has gone up, probably because the Devs are overwhelmed. Self inflicted guys, you are trying to juggle with too many balls. May I suggest you fix one server at a time? Starting with your most highly populated? I know that many of you will say that because Firestorm is free, you should be happy and put up with the faults. Well all this has done for me is make me want to go back to retail where everything works (mostly lol) Thankfully, Euro 2016 will keep me busy for the next few weeks. I do hope Firestorm has made some progress when I come back in July. In the meantime, Does anyone know of a MOP or WOD server that actually works, because I'm almost at the delete account stage here, almost
