  1. To add onto that; how about fixing the shop and exaggerated currency(Firestorm Gold) prices... and eliminating the character market sales minimuss(why is it there in the first place?). Not to leave out also the ridiculous 25% tax just for selling there, even though they receive 100% from you buying FP anyhow so why does a tax even exist? 5% would've been more reasonable, even though still unnecessary because of the aforementioned reason. Things here are valued at more than they should be, and a lot more than they're worth in a private server. As you mentioned, you don't receive any benefits from donating unlike other servers where you might get permanent exp boost, queue priority, monthly mounts...etc. I like this server, I'll keep playing it and I'd like to keep supporting it but some decisions made are so blunt in being greedy all of which have many better ways of doing so but I doubt they'll fix it.
  2. 250k dps where exactly? Also what is your spec, talents and primary stats? All of those can make a big difference and It'd be easier to figure out why exactly you're getting such a low dps.
  3. Well then as I added to my comment if that's the case it might just be a bug that came along with the new update.
  4. If you are over AK15 you won't be seeing the quest anymore and the only way to level up will be by placing work orders... if you're not and are not getting it then It's probably just a bug that came with the new update.
  5. Not until 7.2 when It's increased to 40AK levels.
  6. What do you mean by that exactly, how do you not benefit from the AK you already have...? Once reaching AK15 everyone has to obtain higher levels by placing work orders which will take more than a month from AK15 to the max of 7.1.5; AK25.
  7. It was always supposed to be like that, you just happened to play before it was actually implemented. So yeah, It is fair. Plus, on the bright side, now more players will be better equipped to run mythics+ and raids while actually contributing to the group. Win-Win for all in that regard.
  8. I think they just need to remove minimums altogether and let players price their chars at their choosing, rather than it being arbitrarily chosen for them, just as it was suggested by many when the shop first launched. If they want to sell an i900 char for 1, 700 or even 2,000 FP, why not? It is their char after all. Back then many believed(me included), after seeing the responses from the admins to this suggestion, that Firestorm wouldn't do that simply because of the fat cut they receive in commission after every sale. There is no reason NOT to to after all, It would just be a characters auction house and all items would be valued at what the majority agree is the deserving price for it. If that' doesn't happen, I also believe that 500 FP minimum is simply too much for 99% of the people who play this game and in private servers in general. At the current's shop price that's worth $40 of real-life currency, and I would reckon that most people who are able to pay that kind of money for a single character would rather go and play retail instead... and I wouldn't blame them; less bugs, more content and you're free of mind from potentially being closed at Blizzard's discretion, therefore losing everything. The value of FP has just been placed more high than it should be for a private server, restricting anyone but people who are from wealthy nations like the U.S from being able to buy from the shop, and those anyones make the majority here. TLDR; Shop and FP pricing needs some long-awaited adjustments that are unlikely to happen. Whenever shop prices are discussed people instantly go towards this justification: "Firestorm needs to supports its staff and servers, don't like it? Go to another servers GG(I want to hit your face if you type like this)". They can still support its stafff and servers with lowered FP or shop prices. I would bet that it would even increase their revenue because of the aforementioned reasons.
  9. Good list of changes. Most happy about the AK system finally being implemented.
  10. Great to hear!
  11. Hopefully the next fix is the artifact knowledge system which has been left ignored. At the very least a reduction in research times until a proper fix is implemented would help, or else your only hope of ever reaching AK25 is to wait 4 months or spend the ridiculous 45 gold per notes on the shop(a total of 1,125 Gold for 25 of them, or around $80-- basically just go play retail if you're thinking of buying all of the notes). Also that quality assurance member doesn't act like the title he carries should imo.
  12. They should add XSOLLA instead. They have A LOT of more payment options including PayPal, Gift Cards, Mobile, and the ones currently available in the shop.
  13. legion/sylvanas

I agree with everything you said. . They know all of this and also about the fact that most players apart from those whom have been playing since the beginning and there fore are more likely to have an insane advantage over those that have not, have complained about this exact same issue. In another thread with a similar request, where the OP asked Firestorm to lower the price to around 10 FS and 50 LP per research notes in the shop, one of the GMs simply said that even without having 25 Artifact traits mythis are more than doable... and he's probably right(haven't tried myself), but that's beside the point anyhow isn't it? They have a system which need to be fixed and are completely ignoring the issue or spewing bullshit as to why It is how it currently is to justify the price of the notes in the shop. Every argument they have given have already been answered by Blizzard long before they even implemented the catch-up mechanics, and players have complained about this for months. You're telling me that you can't lower the price to around 10FP/50LP so that it's more obtainable not just to paid players but also free ones as well, at least until you fix the quest or maybe even permanently since It's an absurd price to ask in the first place? It starts to seem like less of an actual issue and more of a planned 'issue', but maybe that's just me from my bad experiences with other sites using similar tactics.
  14. No, the problem is that other players could've played for a while longer OR put a fortune of real-life cash into your shop and that being the sole reason they're stronger than you. If your main argument against implementing a lower cost for the research notes is this, then wouldn't it be more fair to remove the research notes from the shop altogether until the Knowledge is Power quest is fixed and added into the game, as it should be? Then we'd truly ALL progress in our AK in the same way, and at the same rate. But I believe you guys already know this which is why you haven't lowered the price or implemented the Knowledge is Power quest to begin with, but maybe that's just the skeptic in me. Anyhow, every counter-argument you have given have already been answered by Blizzard. There is after all a reason as to why they added the catch-up mechanic for new players, and for those who are getting back into the game
