  1. I just level up 1-70 on valdrakken firestorm, horde but didnt find any guides so heres a little one : 1.Starting zone intro 1-10 quests till you get to Ogrimmar. 2.From Ogrimmar pick quests to Zuldazar where I did every BFA quest in all 3 zones from level 10 to 49.The "Pick a foothold quest still bugged" so skip that.Every storyline quest till the zuldazar quest where you invade the pyramids with Rastakhan. 3.From level 48-49-50 after you finish that you get sent back to Ogrimmar where you need to go to Chromie NPC and switch timeline to Shadowlands to continue the campaign , finish 2-3 quests in Ogrimmar and get Oribos questlines , you can take portal from Ogrim portal room. From this point you can do only (dark brown quests) not forced to do every quest you can find. 4.A few story quests in the maw gives you a few levels , Oribos 1-2 quests if you follow them you get sent to Bastion.Follow the dark brown quests from 50+ to 60 that ended in Maldraxxus arena for me. 5.Ogrimmar again from 60 , pick new quests that end outside Ogrimmar at the flying boat and send you to Dragon Isle. From there pick up whatever dark brown quests you find and progress through the zones while also que'd up for random dungeon finder for gear and xp while you do the story quests that unlock renown for each 4 zones , dragonscale , valdrakken etc. P.S Flying helps a lot so make sure you get it from Ogrimmar for level 30-60 but remember that flying does NOT work in Dragon Isle so progress quick and get dragonriding to fly in Dragon Isle so you can quest easily.Hope that helps someone out there The server could use some improvements tho , I average 40ms ping but there is still lag and crashes atleast 2-3 times per 24hours so be ready to relog a lot , maybe for some bugged quests here and there where the NPC wasnt showing up aswell.Good luck !
  2. Hello. I have a problem with a wow client, it's crashing when i type in login data and than click on login button. It won't happen when i turn off avast antivirus. Does anyone have this issue?
  3. I need some technical advice. I downloaded the official launcher in .dmg extension directly from the website and installed everything fine. The problem persists in that when I launch the launcher, it pops up a loader that gets stuck at one point and does nothing. So I tried the option of unpacking the launcher as a package and running it through the terminal, here it gets an error that asks me to log in. After filling in the details afterwards, an "invalid credentials" message pops up. Is there any solution to fix this?
  4. Hi guys, do any of you play firestorm oribos from the steam deck? I tried to launch the game from steam but it gives me an error "unable to initialize CAS file". Anyone can help me? Thanks
  5. Hello, The Home Stretch quest (WoD) bugged in the shadowlands realm. When I arrive to the docks with Khadgar and his company they vanished from the game and the quest doesn't make anithing. I try to relog, but it doesn't help. I have find the previous ticket about this problem, and I read that was solved but the error is still persist. Thank you for help, Veryanas (I send the ticket on behalf another character and account, account name: Tothti, character name: Bronwean)
  6. Hi i downloaded BFA full client and i cant play because i got error message blz51900003 which is NOT EVEN EXIST at blizzards site. I want to play but i can't. Tried almost everything. Iam sure i didnt miss write password and username and also there is network.
  7. Sorry for my bad English in advance. DEVELOPERS AND GAME MODERATORS/ADMINISTRATORS OF FIRESTORM!!! i play on the BFA server and i experiance so many bugs that i cant count anymore i played this game on Mis of Pandaria same stuff pls fix it. IMPORTANT READ IT! Blizzard rules state that if a exspansion is not new like right now shadowlands and BFA being a old expension now you can legally ask them for the game script of BFA yes it will cost you money but there is more ways to make money than just extorting your player base please fix it i love this private server and i cant even play it others wont join me because of how buggy the game is if you could put it on the forums i PROMISE you people will provide the money if you do buy the games original script for BFA and then you can use that script as a referance and use it to fix the other expensions so pls do this. now you must be wondering well how are we suppose to profit then ? simple set up a support for that people can support you make it so if people dont want to wait in que's to play the game they can pay a fee for that every week/month setup shops so that people can buy gear cause people who play on private servers dont have that much time or are impatient to wait so they buy it. this is how they have make money and they make ALOT OF IT!!! so pls FireStorm fix it and thank you for reading this. also if you did please respond you would give the community some hope. and for random people reading this tell me bellow do you agree to this ?

  9. This Guy called "Finshe" left our group at Endboss for no reason. Means he got no loot and we have to wipe our whole grp which means dungeon is over. We fought over one hour because he always go afk and we waited. At the end we got a very dumb surprise. and this guy insulted me immediately all the time. Can you ban him for 1-2 days or write him ingame that this is not okay. Greetz
  10. Greetings, there is currently an issue on your WoD server where it says "There is no connection to the cross-server" whenever anybody tries to queue 2v2,3v3,bg,rbg or anything. We cannot even send tickets to GMs. I see nobody has reported this issue but funnily enough players have enough time to report players, sad times we live in. Thanks in advance.
  11. LFR is not supposed to be main end game content, it's basically just story mode so people can experience the content without missing out on it. But something I've noticed here is that LFR is taking significantly long time. I am talking over five hours to do LFR at all for any of them. Agonizing. So here's my idea. Tenacity buff that allows less people to do LFR content. The less people you have, the more buffed your stats are. Just like old school winter grasp. This would allow less people to get into the raid and continue doing it When people leave out of frustration. Again, keep in mind, LFR is not supposed to be endgame competitive content.
  12. Greetings, players! In this guide, we will walk you step by step through how to merge your Freakz account with your Firestorm account. Bear in mind that this process is final and can not be undone, so make sure you are merging the Freakz account with the Firestorm account you want! Merging your Freakz account to a Firestorm account is very important, as it will allow you to connect on the webpage to be able to manage your account (change credentials, etc...), sync the account with the forum and even access the website shop to be able to use all of our services (such as character renames, race, and faction changes, restore deleted characters, etc...). When merging the Freakz account with a Firestorm account, nothing will be lost: all of the progress of all the characters and the account (including achievements, mounts, pets, titles, transmogs, appearances, etc...) will be merged! The page to merge your account is this one. You may manually browse it by going to this part (either having an account or not): When going inside, you will see this page: 1) You need to input here your Freakz account username. Bear in mind that this is not your Freakz account email address, but rather the actual username you had. 2) You need to put the Freakz account password here. 3) You need to put the Firestorm account email address here. However, for this case, we are going to meet 3 different scenarios: If you already have a Firestorm account, and you are connected with it, then this field will be already filled with your Firestorm account email and can not be changed. This means that you will merge the Freakz account directly to your connected Firestorm account email. If you already have a Firestorm account but are not connected with it, then you will be able to enter your Firestorm account email here in order to merge the Freakz account to the specified Firestorm account. If you don't have a Firestorm account, then you need to enter here the email address that you want to use to create the Firestorm account. 4) Click on the Send merge request button. This will check the credentials and availability of the entered Freakz account and password. If the credentials are not correct (wrong username and password), then an error message will be displayed: "Invalid credentials for this Freakz account". If the credentials are correct, but the Freakz account is permanently banned, then another error message will be displayed: "This Freakz account is banned". This is final and no accounts will be unbanned. If the credentials are correct, but the Freakz account was already merged to a Firestorm account, then the following message will appear: "The Freakz account you're asking to merge has already been merged". If the entered Firestorm account email belongs to a permanently banned Firestorm account, then the message will say: "This Firestorm account is banned". No Firestorm-banned accounts will be allowed to merge with a Freakz account. If the entered Firestorm account already merged a Freakz account, then the page will display the message: "This email is already in use". However, if everything was correct, then the page will change and show the following message: After that step, we will go to our email inbox, as mail will be delivered there. If you already had a Firestorm account, and you were connected with it, then this button will complete the merge process, and from that point, everything you had on your Freakz account (characters, account progress, and shop balance) will be added to your Firestorm account. From that point, you will need to use your Firestorm account email address and Firestorm password in order to play with your Firestorm and Freakz characters. If you already had a Firestorm account but were not connected with it, then this button will ask you to enter the Firestorm password of the specified Firestorm account email. If successful, then the merge process will be complete, and everything you had on your Freakz account (characters, account progress, and shop balance) will be added to your Firestorm account. From that point, you will need to use your Firestorm account email address and Firestorm password in order to play with your Firestorm and Freakz characters. If you don't have a Firestorm account, then this button will ask you to enter the desired password for the Firestorm account. After doing this, the process will be completed, and your Freakz account will be converted into a Firestorm account. All of the progress you had on Freakz will be added to your newly created Firestorm account, and from that point, you will need to use your Firestorm account email address and Firestorm password in order to play with your Freakz characters. NOTE: If you didn't receive the mail in your email inbox, the problem could be one of the following ones: The entered mail belongs to Microsoft. Many Microsoft domains (Hotmail, Outlook, etc...) are unable to receive our emails. We advise you to change the mail of your Firestorm account to a different domain (like Gmail) to complete the merge process. Your mail provider is blocking our sources. You should be able to unblock them from your mail preferences. You can also change temporarily the email address of your Firestorm account to a different one, then process the merge, and then change back your Firestorm account email to the one you had before.
  13. Greetings everyone ! This is it, Firestorm's next expansion: Shadowlands will be released on Monday, December 20th 10:00AM server time on its realm Oribos ! After a month of Beta realm (OBTR) where you could discover in advance the new features of this 8th World of Warcraft Expansion and give us feedback, it is now time to get the real thing started ! We really wanted to have it ready before Christmas, as a 'gift' to you all: you've been really patient, now it's time for you to get rewarded for it ! Our OBTR will remain opened until Sunday, December 19th when it'll then be shut down. As we mentioned in our previous announcement, any progress made on it won't carry over onto Oribos (the "real" realm): this was a bound-to-disappear realm only meant for testing purposes. In the meantime you can obviously keep on playing it as much as you'd like ! To be able to play right on the 20th, you will need to have your Firestorm Shadowlands client downloaded in advance: many other players will want to join in at the same time, therefore we strongly advise you to prepare yourself right now ! It's easy, all you need to do is either access our regular download page or visit our dedicated guide here: http://fstorm.cc/EN-SL-Download. Please note that our Launcher is now updated to include Shadowlands, yet we advise you to download the full client via torrent if possible. Two days prior to Oribos' opening, we will be copying every character from Sethraliss so you can resume your progression where you left it. A few things of importance to note: Each character's gold will be capped to 10000 Every item in inventories will be bound to your character meaning you won't be able to sell in the AH nor trade them anymore Guild banks are gonna be wiped (items deleted + gold set to 0) on Oribos (your guild bank won't be affected on Sethraliss, don't worry) Finally, character's level and their gear's ilvl will be scaled down to Shadowlands (120 characters will become level 50, with this expansion's max level being 60) Now that we have covered all the preliminary explanations, let's dive in to see what awaits you on Oribos, our Shadowlands realm ! NB: Even though our client is a 9.1.5 one, we will release at 9.0 patch first ! Every system will be scripted in 9.0 fashion, except the class balancing which will be 9.1.5. SPECIAL LAUNCH REWARDS As a token of appreciation (and because you guys waited a long time while we were working hard on that new expansion !) we wanted to give a little something to those of you who join the adventure the very first week following the release ! Those who will log on Oribos before Monday December 27th will receive on their account: The Ensorcelled Everwyrm mount The Anima Wyrmling pet The Wraithchill cosmetic weapon effect The Eternal Traveler's Hearthstone toy The Vestments of the Eternal Traveler That's kind of a nice timing, with Christmas right in the middle don't you think ? Thank you for your support ! NEW LEVELING EXPERIENCE For the first time in the history of World of Warcraft, a heavy rework was made in regards to leveling, and learning the game. Before Shadowlands, every new expansion meant a higher max level and therefore a longer grind to get there, starting with a fairly unfriendly first step into the world of Azeroth: it all changes here ! On Shadowlands, the maximum level has been scaled down from 120 to 60: From levels 1-10, you will be learning the ropes of the game in a beautiful new zone called Exile's Reach. This place will be common to all races (when before each one had its own starting zone), and will feature a whole new questline designed to help new players learn the mecanisms of WoW much better, and faster. Even if you already have all of your characters above level 10, this new experience is gonna be refreshing, and could also help some friends of yours who never picked the game get into it much more easily. From levels 10-50, you will be leveling doing the Battle for Azeroth main storyline, which is fully scripted (its first quest will automatically be given to you). No more changing zones every 10 levels, battling to find working quests or killing monsters endlessly ! It's possible that in the future we will allow for different storylines (like the one from Legion for instance), but our main goal was that everyone doesn't feel bad creating a new character because they are dreading the leveling: it will now be a smooth and nice experience for newcomers and die-hard players alike ! Finally from levels 50-60, you will be making your way into the Shadowlands for the first time ever in World of Warcraft, to experience the wonder and horrors of the afterlife accross five new zones: the gleaming fields of Bastion, the scarred battlefields of Maldraxxus, the eternal twilight of Ardenweald, the opulent keeps of Revendreth, and the horrific Maw. NB: The "Thread of Fate" mecanism allowing you to skip the main storyline to level from 50-60 by other means is not yet implemented (we plan to add it further down the line), so for each character you will have to run the questline for now ! Back on BFA's expansion, its main storyline made you progress from level 110 to 120, while now it will be from level 10 to 50: this shows how much faster your leveling will be on this new expansion, greatly lightening the burden you could feel when when wanting to try out a new class. In 2 simple words: faster & easier ! On top of that, we will add a 50% increase to all exp gains: it used to be higher on older expansions, but with the whole content now fully scripted this will be enough to allow you to reach the necessary level thresholds easily. On top of that, Allied races will start level 10, meaning they can skip the first part. Death Knights and Demon Hunters will still pursue their starting questline (since it's specific to the class and not the race, by the way DKs got a brand new one !) before rapidly reaching level 10 and starting BFA's storyline. As a reminder, your characters from Sethraliss will be copied onto Oribos, so you won't have to start again. But we're pretty hyped with the idea of having a smooth leveling experience to propose, because this has always been one of Firestorm's weaknesses, as we focus on the end game: not anymore ! THE SHADOWLANDS Who thought dying was the end ? Welcome to the Shadowlands ! Once you reach level 48, a quest will automatically be given to you, asking you to head to your capital to begin the storyline. Beginning in Icecrown Citadel, it will then bring you to the afterlife's realm ! After a quick stop at the Maw, you will then arrive at your new capital, where Horde and Alliance gather: Oribos, the Eternal City ! (Yes, we took inspiration from it for our realm's name...) From there on, you will follow the main storyline which will make you travel accross all 5 zones: Bastion, (level 50-52) which is ruled by the Kyrian Covenant. Ordered and purposeful, souls sent here seek virtue. Maldraxxus, (level 52-54) which is ruled by the Necrolord Covenant. Heart of the Shadowlands' military might, souls sent here survive by the rule of the fittest. Ardenweald, (level 54-57) which is ruled by the Night Fae Covenant. Emerald Dreams's dark mirror, it's a place of rest and rebirth. Revendreth, (level 57-60) which is ruled by the Venthyr Covenant. Land of dark secrets, prideful souls are atoning there. The Maw, (level 60+) which is ruled by The Jailer and where Torghast, Tower of the Damned is located By visiting all zones, you will learn of the troubles reigning in the Shadowlands and the schemes orchestrated by the Jailer. Each zone will have its own world quests, rares, dungeons and World Bosses ! This will be your central play area, learning the specifics of all 5 (especially the Maw, a tormented land not easy to survive in !) will be key in your adventure. You can find more information around those 5 zones and their questline here. TORGHAST The Tower of the Damned is located at the heart of the Maw, and is the place where the Jailer hoards his most precious souls. This feature offers a brand new type of gameplay: instanced dynamic content featuring new challenges every time you visit it, with changing floor layouts and enemy mob types for 1 to 5 players. Each visit in Thorgast will be a new experience ! This content is central to your Shadowlands experience as it will be your way to gather Soul Ash, a currency needed to create customizable Legendary Armor (yes they are back !) thanks to an important character held in the tower: the Runecarver. An introduction questline will detail the functionning of Torghast: this has many specific mecanisms, but you will get to know them all rapidly so do not worry ! Here is how things broadly work there: Each run you do contains different floors, and you will have a set number of deaths allowed (for the whole group if you're playing with friends). If the "Death counter" reaches zero, The Tarrague will be spawned, meaning your run will probably be over... On the other hand, if you manage to finish it, you will unlock the next "layer" (basically the next difficulty). To help you in your run, you will find Anima Orbs and Powers: the orbs which you will get after killing certain NPCs allow you to chose between 3 powers that last until the end. Some of them are available to all characters while others are class specific. Some vendors can also sell you upgrades or perks for Phantasma (a currency gathered during your run), helping you get further. These vendors are present in floor 3 and 6. Whenever you die in Torghast, you will respawn at the beginning of the floor you are currently on, and will lose any temporary buffs you may have. There are different wings in Torghast, with only 2 of them available each week and rotating. On floor 6 of each layer an end boss awaits you: kill him to complete your run ! With a total of 12 different layers, you will have quite a lot to do in Torghast. But do not dread, as you have up to 4 friends to help you ! For more details on Torghast, you can visit this link. COVENANTS Briefly named above, there are 4 different covenants that rule the afterlife in the Shadowlands: Kyrian, Necrolords, Night Fae and Venthyr. During your questing you will learn their traits and particularities before having to chose one at level 60. Each of them has its own storyline, divided into chapters. As you're playing you will advance in Renown, a way to show your standing among your chosen family. This is a weekly caped system, unlocking various things such as storyline chapters. Chosing your covenant is the most character-defining thing in Shadowlands, and changing your mind won't be forgiving ! So you will need to chose carefuly as going back will be time costly. By alligning yourself with a Covenant, you will unlock various things: A signature Ability common to all members of the covenant A class ability, common to all members of your class within the covenant Soulbinds and conduits, a new system of progression unique to each covenant unlocking various powers through an artifact-like talent tree. A sanctum, the base of operation of your covenant, from which you can run missions, quests, world quests and more in order to raise your covenant's power back to its former level Several unique rewards ! Each covenant's caimpaign contains 8 chapters. At the release, only the first one will be available (because of the Renown progress cap) but so far the first 2 are scripted, while the others will be released whenever they are ready (Expected ETA is around 2 weeks / chapter) accross all covenants. You can check a more detailed guide about Covenants here. DUNGEONS The Shadowlands contain 8 different dungeons: 4 of them are accessible during your leveling, while the remaining others will be unlocked once you reach level 60. At the release, 7 out of those 8 will be available in Normal, Heroic and Mythic Difficulty. A few weeks later we will start the Mythic+ season, to give us some time to make sure everything is working properly. Here is the list of the dungeons: The Necrotic Wake - Bastion - Accessible while leveling Plaguefall - Maldraxxus - Accessible while leveling Mists of Tirna Scithe - Ardenweald - Accessible while leveling Halls of Atonement - Revendreth - Accessible while leveling Theater of Pain - Maldraxxus - Accessible level 60 De Other Side - Ardenweald - Accessible level 60 Spires of Ascension - Bastion - Accessible level 60 → This one is missing 2 bosses at the moment, but should be ready soon after the release Sanguine Depths - Revendreth - Accessible level 60 For more information related to the dungeons, you can read this guide. RAID: CASTLE NATHRIA The first raid of Shadowlands, Castle Nathria will be released wing by wing, but unlike our previous raids we will speed up that process, with one wing every 2 weeks (instead of every 4-5 weeks). The first one will open in LFR, Normal, and Heroic difficulties a few weeks after the release alongside the Mythic+ difficulty for dungeons. Once the 4th and final wing has been released, the full Mythic mode will follow ! Located in Revendreth, here is a list of its bosses with their corresponding wing: The Leeching Vaults (1st wing) Huntsman Altimor Hungering Destroyer Lady Inerva Darkvein Reliquary of Opulence (2nd wing) Artificer Xy'Mox Sun King's Salvation Council of Blood Blood from Stone (3rd wing) Shriekwing Sludgefist Stone Legion Generals An Audience with Arrogance (4th wing) Sire Denathrius You can read more about the whole raid here. PLAYER VS PLAYER With Shadowlands, a highly requested features makes its return in PVP: the vendors ! It has been fairly hard on Legion & BFA to gear up your characters by doing PVP, and vendors are here to fix this: by engaging in PVP activities, you will earn Honor and Conquest, both used to purchase pieces of gear and upgrades for them (caped by Renown for honor gear, and caped by PVP rank for Conquest gear). Just like the Mythic+ season, the rated PVP season will start a few weeks after the opening. This time will be crucial for us to make sure everything begins in the smoothest state possible ! In the meantime you can still train in skirmishes and battlegrounds, try out builds and talents ! For more information related to the new PVP System, you can head there. A new expansion release is something really special, and we can't wait to see you log on Oribos, after months of hard work and a pretty successful beta realm ! We detailed the main features, but you can expect many more new things for Shadowlands ! As with every new release, you can expect us to be on the deck to fix every issues hindering your gameplay, your enjoyment being our priority ! If you haven't done it yet, scroll back up and check our guide to download the client, so on the 20th you can be among the first to log, and get our special thank-you rewards ! In the meantime remember that our beta realm is opened to everyone, so you can log there to try the expansion, and give us feedback on our bugtracker which will help us ! Only 10 days to wait for, which we'll spend polishing everything ! See you then The Firestorm Team
  14. Greetings everyone ! Yes, Shadowlands is coming soon. We've been working on it for the past months, and things are improving day by day on almost every aspect of the game ! It's not ready yet, but we'll soon be able to open a PTR like we did for Battle for Azeroth: a closed-access realm with invites being granted at an increasing rate. This will happen in November, so we're close ! It's planned to have it going for around a month with some content being added, switched with others to make sure everything gets reviewed so that the actual release of our realm happens as smoothly as possible ! When the time comes, another announcement will be made with details on how to download the client, what content will be available to test etc. Important thing to note: we'll release the client in 9.1 directly (but starting with 9.0 content, as usual) to allow for smoother updates and get the 9.1 class balance. We still have a month to make sure we're ready for that PTR release (and we'll be working as hard as ever !) but we wanted to share the current state of affairs with you to give you a better idea of what you can expect ! We're gonna remain focused on the state of each feature rather than a thorough explanation of what they are, but we'll include links so you can read about them if you' want to know more about the Shadowlands specifics We're really excited for this as we're sure most of you also are, so without further ado: Exile's Reach: This is the new level 1-10 zone where every race will make their baby steps. Much more "casual friendly" than what we currently had up until BFA, everyone will have to go through there first. It's gonna be finished in a few days and then our QA will test it so it's been properly tested before it ends up on the PTR. If you want more info, you can check this guide Chromie Time: This feature allows every player reaching level 11 to chose on which expansion they want to level up, scaling every creature & quests up to level 50. At first, we'll force everyone to chose for BFA since this is our best-scripted expansion (which has already been fully retested on SL). This means that alongside Exile's Reach, all of the leveling should be smooth & without any bugs ! In the future, we'll script Legion, and then eventually other expansions choices. If you want more info, you can check this guide Shadowlands' Intro: Starting automatically once you reach level 50, you'll go to ICC to begin your new journey, then to The Maw for some quests which then leads to Oribos, the expansion's main city. Already tested, it's working really well. Shadowlands' new zones: Bastion (level 50-52) - Madraxxus (level 52-54) - Ardenweald (level 54-57) - Revendreth (level 57 - 60) are all fully scripted including the World Quests, excepted for Bastion which should be finished in the following weeks. All 4 of them will be available on the PTR. The Maw (level 60+) while you'll be getting in and out of it during your leveling, the zone itself at max level hasn't been worked on yet, but since it's not much (short questline + a few dailies / weeklys / rares) it might be available for the PTR, albeit not right away. It's supposed to be the prerequisite to access Thorgast, but we will remove that condition on PTR if needed ! If you want more info, you can check this guide Torghast: 3 Wings (out of 6) are currently working, and almost all anima powers are scripted. The intro questline will be worked on soon, which includes some scenarios inside of Thorgast so you can get a grasp of its functioning. If you want more info, you can check this guide Covenants: Those 4 families (linked to the first 4 zones of Shadowlands) will have enough chapters scripted so you can access their spells, conduits, soulbinds, followers, missions & callings. They aren't ready yet, but should be for the PTR (maybe not right away, but during its time). If you want more info, you can check this guide Dungeons: All 8 should be available for the release, most during the PTR. Some are in a more advanced state than others (3 of them aren't fully scripted yet but should be soon). Affixes have been scripted & updated, and the rewards as well (including the new weekly chest, which has been redesigned entirely !) If you want more info, you can check this guide Raid: Castle Nathria: Every bosses are scripted in all difficulties, and testings have started progressively (first wings having received more feedback than last ones). It will be fully available on the PTR so you can check it thoroughly ! If you want more info, you can check this guide Legendaries: The crafting system has been scripted for a while, and so were most of the spells but because of their complex nature some are still in need of a review. They should be available for the PTR. If you want more info, you can check this guide Classes: As mentioned it will be 9.1 balancing, and their scripting has begun recently. Everything will be fully ready for the actual release, with the finishing touches applied during PTR time. This pretty much does it ! As you can see, most of the new systems are at least almost finished for the dev part, and testings have started for a while now. We haven't gone in depth of their core functioning because this would be fairly long, but we advise you to read the linked guides, which contain every information you may need ! Shadowlands brings a lot of new things that you will (re)discover soon, so having a bit of information beforehand can't hurt ! When the PTR opening date is set, we will provide more detailed guides of the available systems, as well as how you can help improving their quality for the release: we'll first invite our most active players, while steadily expanding the filter. There isn't much more to wait, and with the new PVP season & the MDI on Sethraliss you should have plenty of things to do while increasing your chances to be selected first for the PTR ! While all this happens, our developers and Quality Assurance members are giving their best We'll see you in a few weeks for more information regarding Shadowlands, in the meantime we wish you a nice experience on Firestorm ! Thank you for your time and fidelity, The Firestorm Team

  18. The 8.2 Content update: Rise of Azshara is upon us ! You have all been patient, it is now time for us to release this huge update including a lot of new content for you to discover & enjoy. The update will be shipped to Sethraliss on Monday, August 3rd at noon (server time). The realm will be shut down for approximately 2-3 hours beforehand in order to apply everything and make sure nothing got messed up. There are a lot of new things that will be available with this update, and this post is here to guide you throughout everything so you don't feel lost when you'll log in for the first time after it is applied: we'll go through every change & addition with a description, and links if you feel like you need a more thorough understanding. Basically, here is a quick overview of the new content: 2 New Zones: Nazjatar featuring the raid Azsharah's Eternal Palace, and Mechagon featuring the Megadungeon: Operation: Mechagon The new Heart of Azeroth Essence System explained later in this post Pathfinder Part 2, unlocking flying in all of BFA's zones! Continuation of the War Campaign Mount Equipment Slots New ilvl cap: 455 / 445 for Azerite Gear New Season: In Mythic+ a new affix, Beguiling & in PvP the Notorious Gladiator! Oh, and also our friend Boris 'the long-awaited' will return on all of our realms starting Monday, August 3rd at noon (server time) as well and will stay a full week so you can't possibly miss him ! Now let's get a more in-depth look at all the new stuff we'll have ! NAZJATAR A whole new zone, home of the Nagas will emerge! With both the Horde and Alliance having lost a lot of their naval power, Nagas take this opportunity to strike. While Sylvanas and Jaina send members of their faction to investigate, you will uncover the ancient land of Nazjatar, filled with traps laid by Queen Azshara and will need help from local people already fighting the Nagas: For the Alliance, those allies will be the Ankoan, a group of water warriors For the Horde, those allies will be a group of former Naga slaves composed of various species: the Unshackled. By helping their faction, you will be able each day to select a bodyguard (one out of 3 different available) which will gain experience through the content you do and progress. Each one has 30 levels that will unlock new abilities and cosmetic rewards. Starting 8.2, Nazjatar will become your main hub, where you will be able to do the main questline, dailies, world quests, find treasures and collectibles, slay rares and even fight world bosses! New professions reagents and vendors can also be found there, as well as a new type of gear: Benthic Armor obtained through tokens looted or exchanged to an NPC for Prismatic Manapearls, the new main currency used in Nazjatar. This special gear can furthermore be upgraded, starting at 385 ilvl and ending at 430 ilvl. A new type of event will also take place there regularly: Battle for Nazjatar, a world-sized PVP fight over the control of key locations around Nazjatar! Your job will be to fill your victory points faster than the opposing faction through various means, but mainly killing them & taking control of a maximum number of PVP locations by staying in their vicinity until they are captured. The winners will earn more Battle Commendations, the PVP currency used on this patch. You will also be able to unlock various Azerite Essences in Nazjatar, through reputation, questing and war mode activities. You can find more information on this guide. Last but not least, a new raid will open its doors deep within Nazjatar: Azshara's Eternal Palace! AZSHARA'S ETERNAL PALACE This new raid, home of the Queen Azshara herself contains 8 bosses grouped in 3 wings. You can find an overview here. On the patch release, the first wing 'The Grand Reception' will be available in LFR (400 ilvl), NM (415 ilvl) and HM (430 ilvl) difficulties. Here are its 3 champions: Abyssal Commander Sivara, which will require quick reaction times to defeat Blackwater Behemoth, an underwater encounter! Radiance of Azshara, a 2-phase boss On Radiance of Azshara (and on other last wing-bosses once they are released), you will also be awarded a number of Aqueous Reliquary, that you will be able to combine to create an Azerite Essence (1 per role available). This number depends on the difficulty in which you slay it: 1 in LFR, 2 in Normal, and 4 in Heroic + 1 extra on your first kill. You can only loot them once per difficulty per week, and killing Radiance in a higher difficulty before its lower difficulty counterparts will grant you all the reliquaries you would have gotten from all difficulties up to the one you just did. brain freeze This sounds confusing, but is actually pretty simple: if you kill it in Heroic first on a said week, you will get 1 (from LFR) + 2 (from Normal) + 4 (from Heroic) + 1 extra = 8 reliquaries, and won't be able to get any other this week. You'll need 9 Aqueous Reliquary to create the Rank 1 version of the Essence, 18 to create the Rank 2 and 36 to create the Rank 3. The release of the whole raid will happen wing by wing with a 4-week average interval: the second one, 'Depths of the Devoted' will be released around 4 weeks after the release, then the 3rd and final wing, 'The Circle of Stars' around 4 weeks after it. Once all wings are available for that same time range, the Mythic difficulty will be released on the whole raid (just like we did with Battle of Dazar'Alor). MECHAGON The second zone to be released with the patch, home to the gnomish society calling themselves Mechagnomes! Kul Tiran excavators managed to open a previously closed vault built in the southern mountains of Tiragarde Sound, in which a radio transmitter was found, sending out a signal pointing to this new land, Mechagon ! You can find an overview of the zone here. Alike Nazjatar, this new zone offers many content for you to do: questlines (the intro one, plus some to introduce the zone mechanic alongside the mount and fishing ones), rotating chests, rares, rotating daily quests with visitors, new fishing points, and blueprints, an important new feature allowing you to craft many useful things with Pascal! Mechagon also brings its fair share of customization (that what mechas are known for right ?), including relevant stuff like the new customizable trinket (via Punch Cards obtained through various sources), and irrelevant-thus-indispensable things like a Gramophone to listen to old-school music, a Beer-dispenser (cheers for the resistance !) and a pimp-able mechanocat! On top of that, you will be able to gather a lot of new collectibles: mounts, battle pets, and toys throughout your exploration of the zone. A new construction system will also be added: the junker gnomes try to maintain a couple of construction projects active, but since they aren't enough to keep all of them active at the same time, they have to rotate them day by day which will change possible activities! For instance, some content will only be accessible when a specific project is up, so you'll have to contribute with other players your hard-earned Mechagon materials (Spare Parts and Energy Cells) to make them work. As if this wasn't enough, a Megadungeon will also be released in the zone: Operation: Mechagon where you will need to stop King Mechagon's evil plans of turning everything flesh into robotic parts! MEGADUNGEON OPERATION: MECHAGON This 8-boss dungeon, only available in Mythic difficulty will give 415 base ilvl gear, but also a lot of other cool types of loot: punch cards (for your customizable trinket), pets, mounts, profession recipes and even an Azerite Essence! You can find more information on this guide. On top of that, you will be able to obtain on 2 of the bosses customizable set rings: On the HK-8 Aerial Oppression Unit you can get 'Logic Loop' rings, while on the Machinist's Garden you can get 'Bit bands'. The first type of ring sets the proc rule (for instance: "if you heal a target whose health is below 30%..., or "if you damage an enemy from behind...") The second type sets the proc effect (for instance: "... then you gain X haste for 15 secs" or "... then you deal X damage to a nearby enemy") That way you can create your own 2-part set bonuses! The fun doesn't stop here, as this dungeon also reintroduces the Hardmode on its HK-8 Aerial Oppression Unit! This boss will patrol over the first 3 bosses randomly, and you will need to fight those specific bosses! This is where the hard part starts, as the HK-8 will disrupt the course of your run and of the boss fights. Once you've cleared all 3 bosses guarded by it, you will be able to start the 'Hard' boss fight itself, introducing new trash mobs & improved spells. All in the name of glory? Indeed, but also of improved rewards! An achievement for everyone, and an ilvl 430 Azerite Helm + a special mount for one of your group members! It seems even more rewards await those completing the hard mode without dying even once... NEW MYTHIC+ SEASON 3 New Mythic+ season means a new level 10 affix: say goodbye to reaping, and welcome beguiling: Azshara is sending her emissaries to disrupt your run and make you rethink your strategy! You will find more information here. On all keys of level 10+, you will find a new kind of enemy: Emissaries. There are 3 different ones, each with its own mechanic and specificity, based on the 3 schools of magic: Arcane, Frost, and Shadow. They will be present throughout packs in the dungeon, and their locations will rotate (in a similar way to the Infested Affix of Season 1). Each week will be themed in one magic school, with its corresponding Emissary being in a much higher number. Let's give a look at each of them: Enchanted Emissary (Arcane): Immune to crowd control, she gives all surrounding NPCs the Queen's Decree: Blowback aura, making them return 150% of all damage suffered back to the attacker. Your job will be to hit her (and not her close friends) as each hit knocks her back: once she's far enough your group will be safe to hit the rest of the pack. She has way too much health to be killed but only has a 20-second 'lifetime' shown by her depleting energy which doesn't reset on wipe, so you won't have to keep her busy for long. Emissary of the Tides (Frost): All crowd control on her will last a maximum of 8 seconds, but she has no diminishing return (meaning several stuns in a row will always have full effect on her). She gives all surrounding NPCs the Queen's Decree: Unstoppable aura, making them immune to crowd control, including interrupts. She has slightly less health than an average mob, but the fact that she has no diminishing return makes it easy to keep her away with periodic crowd controls while pulling her friends, until she's alone and easy to be dealt with. Void-Touched Emissary (Shadow): Immune to crowd control, but unable to move, her only mechanic is casting Queen's Decree: Hide, a 9-second cast AOE dealing 50% of the target's max health to everyone in line of sight on a 60-yard radius, and applying a debuff increasing this spell's damage furthermore... Your job will be to avoid being hit by this spell using walls and pillars present in her vicinity while hitting her whenever possible. She has a slightly higher than average health pool, but on wipe her health won't reset to full. As with every season change, dungeons, in general, are also scaled up: all NPCs will have 30% more health to account for players' higher ilvl gear, and the scaling of damage & health per keystone level will be tougher (a +10 key in S2 gave 85% additional damage & health, while on S3 it will give 114%). That being said, rewards of all dungeon difficulties have also been scaled up: Normal gives 370 ilvl, Heroic gives 385 ilvl and Mythic gives 400 ilvl. Here is the table for Mythic+ loots: Please note that until Wednesday, August 12 at the time of the reset, all Weekly Chest loots will still be generated according to Season 2 rewards. Thaumaturge Vashreen, the Titan Residuum Vendor will be updated on release to sell increased ilvl Azerite gear. You will not lose any residuum you saved up, but it will require much more to get a high-end piece of gear compared to season 2. PVP SEASON 3: NOTORIOUS GLADIATOR The current PVP season 2 of the Sinister Gladiator will end at the time of the update, and the ladder will be frozen until Wednesday, August 12 when the new Notorious Gladiator season starts! Rewards for the season 2 will be distributed sometime during this 'preseason'. Once season 3 has started, you will be able to earn the Notorious transmog set through normal PVP gear acquisition, while the Elite recolor will require you to reach certain ranking levels: Combatant (1400 - 1599): Wrist and Waist Challenger (1600-1799): Hands, Legs, Feet Rival (1800-2099): Head, Shoulders, Chest Duelist (2100-2399): Cloak Elite (2400+): Tabard Conquest trackers will be reset, allowing players to re-earn its rewards for higher ilvl pieces of gear: each week, you will have to participate in PVP activities in order to cap your conquest and unlock a specific item, following this table: Each week, a new cap will be unlocked for players: if you missed one (or more), you will still be able to fill them on later weeks so you don't skip any piece of gear. Moreover, if you cap your conquest at least once during the week, you will unlock the Weekly PVP chest the following Wednesday during the reset. Its loot, alongside end of game rewards from Rated Arenas and RBG matches, will scale on your highest current rating, following this table: Skirmish rewards will award gear based on your own ilvl, scaling from 360 to 400 ilvl. The season 3 PVP Mount will be the Vicious War Basilisk, which you will obtain by filling the mount bar for the first time. Further fillings will give you Vicious Saddles which you will be able to turn in for mounts. WAR CAMPAIGN 8.2 As with every content update, you will be able to continue the War Campaign storyline where you left it. This time, both the horde and the alliance have a common objective to kick things off: saving Baine Bloodhoof! Although this part of the WC isn't as long as some others, it shows a bit more of Sylvanas' dark side, and for the first time since Legion, both sides will cooperate to defeat the biggest threat at hand: Azshara! For a recap of the war campaign storyline, you can read the Horde WC post, or the Alliance WC one. HEART OF AZEROTH ESSENCE SYSTEM Several times in this post has it been mentioned, the Essence System is a new type of customization for your Heart of Azeroth. It will allow you to gain talent-like Major and Minor powers based on the essences you decide to place into your HoA, among the ones you've unlocked from a wide variety available throughout different means. You can find more info here Things start of with a questline involving M.O.T.H.E.R., Magni, and the remaining Dragonflights giving you access to the Essence System, and your first Essence: The Crucible of Flame. Each essence has a major active ability and minor passive effects that can be socketed into your Heart of Azeroth. You unlock the Major slot when your HoA reaches level 35: the essence socketed into it will give a major effect and minor effect. Minor slots will then be unlocked when your HoA reaches level 55 and 65, with essences socketed into them only giving their minor effect. Each essence has 4 different ranks: Rank 1 is the base obtention level of the essence, while Ranks 2 & 3 enhance its effects. Rank 4 is a cosmetic upgrade that doesn't give any actual benefit except making you look extra cool! Each essence can be obtained in a specific way, while its upgraded ranks will require a bit more effort & time put into it. Some essences are specific to a role (dps, heal or tank), but most of them can be used by all 3. You can check this link to learn about the different ways to obtain essences: all of them will be available except the Island Expedition one, which will be obtainable once this feature is released on Sethraliss (soon™). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION On top of everything that deserved a specific section, a few additional things will get added with the update: Professions will be updated and will include new recipes! The Pathfinder Part 2 will be added. Completing it and part 1 will allow you to fly on all of BFA! Mount Equipment will be added: customize your mont with special effects purchased from reputation vendors! World Quests rewards will be scaled up (they still scale on your own ilvl, but their cap is increased): 400 ilvl cap for regular ones, and 415 for emissaries BORIS RETURNS! Boris will return on all of our realms for a full week, starting the day of this update! It is the perfect opportunity for you to get a free boost on Sethraliss to discover all this new content, or to make an alt on our other realms to try an old expansion! Boris will be available in all races starting zones until Monday, August 10th and will give you a boost to the max level alongside gear. Note: On BFA, the boost is to level 110, not 120. Using Boris on an Allied Race character will NOT give you the heritage armor. We know you guys are eager to discover all those new content, and so are we! We've been working on them for a long time now, and it's really exciting to have it go live! As with every update, we'll monitor the realm closely to spot any issue. You can help us by using our Bugtracker to report any issues you may find during your adventures in our Realms! Our Game Masters will also do their best to assist you with any issue you encounter in the game, and our moderators on the forums & discord, but please remember that the amount of work they will have due to the update will increase a lot, so try to be extra patient That's it for now! See you next Monday for the release! The Firestorm Staff
  19. As we announced during our latest Q&A (you can find the transcript here) we're gonna open a test realm accessible to everyone in order to test the stability and get feedback on our 8.2 client: the PTR 8.2 will open on Monday, October 21st. All of the characters from Sethraliss will be copied on it so you can continue your adventure right where you left it! The goal of this PTR is to make sure that the true release of the 8.2 client will be as smooth as possible: everything that works currently on Sethraliss should work after the update, and new content, alongside reworked features will need 'real condition' testing to make sure they are fully operational for the release, that is expected after 3 to 4 weeks of open PTR. A whole new section will be available on the Bugtracker for you to report issues you encounter on the PTR. Our Quality Assurance team will then take care of those reports and give them to our developers who will then be able to fix them. HOW TO DOWNLOAD 8.2 CLIENT: To log on the PTR 8.2, the only thing you need will be the FS 8.2 client: fear not, as we've made this as easy as possible for you! Here is how you'll get access: Download the 8.2 .exe here: http://fstorm.cc/82-Download (it is compressed in a .rar) Open your FS BFA client folder, where your current .exe is located, place the .rar you just downloaded there, and extract it. That's it! With the same client folder you will now have 2 different .exe: the one to access Sethraliss (8.0) and the new one to access the 8.2 PTR Please note: The first time you will open the 8.2 client, it will take a bit of time (between 2-5 minutes) to download the missing files, but in the meantime nothing will appear on your screen, that's normal ! Do not open it 43 times, just once and then wait a bit. Once it's done, you will be fully set up! Now that you know when the PTR will be available, and how you will be able to connect, let's see what you will be able to discover on it! NEW CONTENT As we said before, even though our client is updated straight to 8.2 (for practical reasons), we wish to follow the retail order of content release, which means 8.1 patch content first! Some of you might know what this means, and this post is here to guide you through our different content, namely: 8.1 War Campaign Darkshore zone Mythic+ & PVP Season 2 Battle of Dazar'Alor Raid Assaults Below you will have more details on those content, please remember that the PTR is also here to help us find issues and that your help is valuable to make the 'real release' as clean as possible. Now let's get into those different features! WAR CAMPAIGN Continue what you started on the 8.0 War Campaign! For the Horde, it's all about crippling the Alliance, and it will take you up to the raid Battle of Dazar'Alor! More info is available here For the Alliance, the objective is to set everything up for the attack on the Zandalari capital, and to defeat King Rastakhan! More info is available here The 8.1 part of the War Campaign will be fully scripted, so if you notice any issues, use the bugtracker to make sure we fix them! DARKSHORE Darkshore is to the 8.1 patch what Arathi Highlands were to the 8.0, so you can expect to find the same kind of content available here; It's a whole new zone filled with special World Quests, and rare mobs that can reward equipments, mounts, toys or pets. The whole zone will be controlled by one faction, switching every week: while your faction holds the reins, you will get access to world quests in the area, and to the corresponding world boss: Ivus the Forest Lord for the Horde, and Ivus the Decayed for the Alliance. You can find more information about Darkshore here: here Please note that like Arathi Highlands, the Warfront won't be available. MYTHIC+ & PVP SEASON 2 With the release of the 8.1 patch on retail started the season 2 of Mythic+ and PvP, so we're doing the same here as we're releasing 8.1 content! in PVP, the Sinister Gladiator season will begin, with updated rewards! To get more info, you can check this link. in Mythic+, the seasonal affix will now be Reaping (instead of Infested for the season 1). This special affix will revive all defeated monsters at certain dungeon completion %, meaning you will need to defeat them twice! With this season, the rewards will also be updated, and a new currency is added: Titan Residuum that can be spent to buy Azerite Armor. For more details on the Season 2, you can click here. This season will 'officially' start on Sethraliss once it updates to 8.2 client, but on the open PTR you will be able to discover and test all of those changes in advance! Same as always, feedback is greatly appreciated here! BATTLE OF DAZAR'ALOR The second Raid of the expansion, involving Jaina Proudmoore and the Alliance's invasion of Dazar'Alor, the Zandalari capital! What makes this raid special is the fact that your faction will be changed during certain fights, to reflect on each faction's story during the attack. On PTR, the first 2 Horde bosses will be available for both factions: Champions of the Light & Grong. The 3rd one, Jadefire Masters will be released on the PTR later, and will be available on Sethraliss when the update gets shipped. They will be available in LFR, NM and HM difficulties. If you're looking for a guide of BoD, here it is! Aaaand, you know the drill, feedback will be valuable on BoD too, so here is the link of the bugtracker again. NEW ALLIED RACES Two new allied races will be available right away, without any requirements: Kul Tiran Humans for the Alliance Zandalari Trolls for the Horde Each of them has its own racial spells, so be sure to check their guide to get the best out of them! ASSAULTS Similar to the Legion Invasions, following a rotation some BFA zones will get invaded by either the Horde or the Alliance. Depending on the zone and your faction, you will either act as an invader, or a defender and will get access to specific world quests: once you've completed 4 of them, you will unlock a quest in which you will have to defeat the ennemy commander, which will reward you with gear, war ressources and reputations. For more information, you can read this guide. We are excited to bring all of those content to you guys, and hope you are eager to discover it as well! We cannot stress this enough, your feedback will be of great importance to make sure that when all of those content are shipped on Sethraliss, everything will be as good as possible! So tell your friends, download the .exe, log on the PTR starting Monday, 21st October and write reports about the issues you encounter on the bugtracker. The fastest we get feedback, the less time this PTR will last, and the quicker everything will be released on the live server! Thank you for reading, and see you on the 8.2 PTR! The Firestorm Team
  20. Third time's the charm! Following our previous content update, we will be updating Sethraliss on Wednesday, July 31st at 11:00AM server time for our 3rd content update! On top of that, we'll be having a special weekend from Friday, August 2nd at 4:00PM to Monday, August 5th at 11:55PM server time, where all experience gains will be x10! Take this opportunity to level up new alts with friends and discover the new content added! We also wanted to keep you guys posted about 8.2 version, as we've started to work on it: You can expect it to be shipped to live around the MIDDLE OF OCTOBER. This ETA (remember that the E stands for Estimated: this is subject to potential changes) matches retail in terms of release delay, as we'll have had 8.0 patch going for about 6 months. As a reminder, this patch will also put the first PVP & Mythic+ season to an end, starting the 2nd PVP season 'Sinister Gladiator' alongside a new affix for Mythic+ season 2: Reaping! But let's focus first on what this 3rd content update will bring onto Sethraliss! Bring it on!!! ARATHI HIGHLANDS Arathi's zone will be available! A full new zone, including new rare mobs to slain! Each week, the control of the zone will switch faction, allowing the one in control to battle the opposing faction's world boss ! For example, if the Horde is controlling the area, their players will be able to group up to fight the Alliance's World Boss, rewarding 370 ilvl gear! Each Faction has its own World Boss: The Lion's Roar for the Alliance, and Doom's Howl for the Horde. For more information on Arathi's zone, click here. Note: Warfront won't be available in this update. VOL'DUN The last remaining Horde zone, Vol'dun will have its full questline released! World Quests will also be included, which means the Horde territory will now be fully available! FOR THE HORDE! With this zone also comes a new World Boss that will be added in the rotation: Dunegorger Kraulok STORMSONG VALLEY The last remaining Alliance zone, Stormsong Valley will have its full questline released! World Quests aren't ready at this point, but will be added gradually: you will be able to follow those additions on the BFA Live Changelog. With this zone also comes a new World Boss that will be added in the rotation: Warbringer Yenajz DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP Last time we shared was a month and a half ago, here's where we stand now! Island Expeditions are under testing! Currently 3 maps are available: Dread Chain, Skittering Hollow and Rotting Mire. This content should be shipped to live soon, way before the 8.2 with other islands added progressively. This will be that last 8.0 content currently missing! After that, we'll set sail to 8.1 content (see below for more information) The development on old content stuff continues! We're still not sure if we'll make a post for everything that was done, or if we'll add fixes when they are applied on the live changelog, but regardless we will keep you posted about what's worked on! So far, Gilneas has already been applied, and Kezan is under testing. Tanaan Jungle is being scripted, and some old dungeons have been fixed so they can now be completed. The 'Role Check' system is still being worked on: in essence it works, but there are still some slight tweaking to do before we can release it on the live realm. 8.2 is being worked on, with a test realm running. Even though the patch itself will be 8.2, we'll start by scripting the 8.1 content: as stated above, except for the Island Expedition, this 3rd update concludes all content from patch 8.0. We're switching our developers from 8.0.1 version toward 8.2 gradually (a few will stay to ensure Sethraliss gets the attention it needs in the meantime), and focussing our attention first on spell fixing (we already have a list of all changes made on every spells since 8.0.1), as well as the 2nd Raid: Battle of Dazar'Alor, the sequel of our current War Campaign, and PVP invasions! As a reminder, our Quality Assurance team could use your help, especially with the 8.2 patch featuring all its new content! Whether you're more familiar with raids, dungeons, questlines, professions, or classes, you can help us improve the server! You can send your application here (in English) and if you have questions, feel free to ask any admin on discord, or the Head QAs directly (Citryne for PVE side, and Tweek for Class Masters). Thanks for your time, we wish you all good luck & fun while enjoying those new contents! The Firestorm Team.
  21. Important Notes Game Masters, alongside moderators, are volunteers who take on their personal time to help players and the server: as such, you should treat them with respect. As human beings, each of them has his/her own sensibility that can influence their decisions (this obviously is only natural, but it is notable enough to be reminded here.) Sharing private conversations involving a Game Master to other players is forbidden: doing so can lead to sanctions up to permanent account suspension. Your account is yours, and your responsibility only: no excuses can invalidate this statement. In order to properly secure your account, you are advised to read this topic (even if you think your account is already safe!) Following the previous point, account sharing / exchange is strictly forbidden. If any case involves account theft / account sharing with a 'friend' or similar, all involved player's accounts will be suspended, including the complainant's one(s). The punishments indicated below are the general cases, but in some instances it can vary outside of the written range: if so, you will be notified as to why it happened. Rules indicated in this code of conduct are there to cover the most common cases, but aren't the only ones where a Game Master is entitled to act: dishonesty, ill intent and other forms of negative behavior can result in them getting involved. Remember to keep a positive and healthy attitude towards the server, and other players ! Sanctions can in some cases be applied on all of the holder's accounts: breaking rules on side accounts can thus have impact on your main account. 22. Greetings Firestormians! As the title described, this is Firestorm's first Rap Battles topic! (to my knowledge at least). If you have pent up anger or you randomly have sudden urges to express your disrespect towards someone or something, that you think noone is paying enough attention to, then you have come to the right place! The official format for battles between players usually is: <You diss the person above you with a 4 line rhyme or longer, depending on your creativity ofcourse>. However if you don't necessarily feel that particular urge to embarrass and rap about the certain person above you, for something they said or did, you can always create a rhyme for a subject of your own choosing which should be stated before your lines actually begin for ex.: *This is a diss about all the punks dat Q in BG's wif 100k hp.* They fill up the last spots of your BG group And when you see their score you go "GG Noob" You see them dead, at the spirit healer, dodging a rez These types of trolls, you just wish there were less When an allie sees them, what happens? i'll let you guess They giggle and kek and then send em' to bȧse Not even Atlas could carry this team so it would seem The only purpose these kids had was to ruin your dream That being said, try to keep things mature.. That would exclude racism and sexism of any kind or anything similar. In other words try and stick with Firestorm's official Forum Rules to ensure a slightly longer lifespan for this topic than just 1-2 days before it gets locked because of too many butthurt keeds flaming eachother, with no sense of direction. If you do however absolutely need to use a certain swear word, maybe just type the abbreviation or exchange a certain letter inside it with a different symbol so it doesn't look like a blatant insult or anything. And lastly i would like for the Forum Moderators and Admins to see this topic for it's creative and expressional purpose and not necessarily as some form of harassment towards a certain grp of ppl or disregard for the rule set, for it most certainly is not that; it should be seen merely as a tool for one's amusement and a comical depiction of specific events that aren't normally viewed under such different/unique angles. Again this all depends on the individual composing the rhymes and his/her creative intuition. This social event was meant to launch at the end of January and last till the end of February but I decided to release it a little bit sooner to give everyone a head-start. By the end of Feb, the person that got the most likes on his rhyme/diss will get get crowned <Official Firestorm Rap God> with acknowledgements from all participants in the thread. Note that you agree to this statement if you yourself choose to participate in order to ensure a fun and competitive environment with a nice bit of bliss at the end. The title will be held by the victor up until the next arbitrary rap battle topic starts and dates for its duration are agreed upon after which the title will be passed on to whomever the tribe votes for the most. Who will be the first Firestorm Rap God? Who will be the one to dethrone him and claim his title for his own? That is for YOU to decide! Finally i would like to thank everyone for taking the time to read and even be a part of this brilliant forum game. Good luck Firestormians!
