  1. Hello there! I'm incredibly new to Firestorm and I'm a bit confused on installing the Dragonflight Beta server with the launcher. Whenever I install it, it only downloads around 60 MB and then it just kinda... seems to freeze with the blue download bar at full. I do not have the full game installed, and want to know if that's possible to do with Dragonflight via the launcher. I'd download the full game file, but I don't have enough space to extract it on my external hard drive. I actually did try that at first before asking this, but I couldn't find a working way to delete files while extracting. I was able to play after downloading the minimal server, but I'd prefer to just get the full game installed ahead of time. So, in summary: How do I download the full game for Dragonflight via the Firestorm Launcher?
  2. I just can't play the game at all. Can't even login. I try to login and I get that my credentials are invalid.
  3. I need some technical advice. I downloaded the official launcher in .dmg extension directly from the website and installed everything fine. The problem persists in that when I launch the launcher, it pops up a loader that gets stuck at one point and does nothing. So I tried the option of unpacking the launcher as a package and running it through the terminal, here it gets an error that asks me to log in. After filling in the details afterwards, an "invalid credentials" message pops up. Is there any solution to fix this?
  4. You will need the client version 10.1.7 - 51261 to play on our Dragonflight realm. Do not worry; we've gathered it for you and are presenting you with four options! You can pick your preferred way depending on how you want to play. (UPDATED 13-10-2023) FULL GAME CLIENT (RECOMMENDED) To use this way, we will download the entire game client at 100% using the fastest method we have: Torrent. This method ensures that the client will be working 100% and will not be downloading while you play. However, depending on your download speed, it'll take some time to prepare, as it'll have to download many GBs simultaneously (86 GB)! Obtain a Torrent client. We advise you to get qBittorrent since it's open-source, free of ads and without intrusive actions, but any Torrent client will do. Open our magnet link, which contains the Game Client without additional languages (86 GB) and open it using the installed Torrent client. Ensure it downloads on a compatible, entire read-and-write folder, not one protected by the system (like Program Data, Windows or similar). You can create one in the root of your hard disk. Alternatively, if you want to play on a different language inside the game, and you want your client to already have the language downloaded, you can use this alternative magnet link, which contains the Game Client with every additional language (126 GB). Once the download is complete, unzip the client ("Dragonflight 10.1.7 - Firestorm.zip" or "dragonflight_fs.zip")in a new folder and open WoW Dragonflight 10.1.7 - FS.exe to start playing! The compressed client is 86 GB (or 126 GB if it has all languages), so in order to unzip it, you will need about 180 GB (or 260 GB) at the same time to have space for both the compressed client and the decompressed one. (UPDATED 24-11-2023) MINIMUM CLIENT USING OUR LAUNCHER (EASIEST) You can organise all your game clients individually thanks to the Firestorm Launcher. This means you will have your game ready in a few minutes and download the game client while you play! However, this could cause the client to crash, have very long loading screens, and cause latency in-game. Download our launcher, which can be found on our Join Us page. This link should work. Install our launcher. Execute the launcher. The Dragonflight client option should appear on top of the Client list. You need to select a folder where you want it to be installed. The folder should be on a compatible and not restricted folder. Using the root of one of the Hard Disks usually works (like "C:/Dragonflight - Firestorm/") The launcher will take a few minutes to download the minimum client. After it's done, click on play, and the client will download the minimum files in the background. NOTE: The first time you open the client, it may take a few minutes depending on your download speed. Please be patient. FULL GAME CLIENT FROM BATTLE.NET (ALTERNATIVE FULL) If you already played Dragonflight on retail or want to download the game client from their servers (the last version, at least), you can use it to play with it on our servers! First, you need to download the Battle.net World of Warcraft game client Dragonflight. Using their game client, you can download it for free on the battle.net download page. Download our minimum client. Unzip the minimum client "Dragonflight - Firestorm - 10.1.7 - 51261.zip" and put the client "Wow 10.1.7 - 51261.exe" inside the folder where you installed the Battle.net game client. Execute Wow 10.1.7 - 51261.exe. The client will then update the game files according to Firestorm's needs and launch the game on the correct version! MINIMUM CLIENT (NO PROGRAMS) If you don't want to use any additional programs and want to handle it yourself, there's a simple way: using the minimum client directly. This means you will have your game ready in a few minutes, downloading the game client while you play! However, this could cause the client to crash, have very long loading screens, and cause latency in-game. Download our minimum client. Unzip the minimum client "Dragonflight - Firestorm - 10.1.7 - 51261.zip" and put the client "Wow 10.1.7 - 51261.exe" inside the folder where you want the client to be installed. The folder should be on a compatible, not restricted, folder. Using the root of one of the Hard Disks usually works (like "C:/Dragonflight - Firestorm/") Execute Wow 10.1.7 - 51261.exe. This will make the client start downloading itself in the background. NOTE: The first time you open the client, it may take a few minutes depending on your download speed. Please be patient.
  5. Guide to fixing Launcher error: The CAS System was unable to initialize: ClientHandler: initialization error: failed to create storage component. After downloading the client uTorrent makes the folder and files readonly (to protect the integrity of the torrent contents...). As a result when you start the client you get the infamous CAS System error: Further keywords to aid finding this guide: failed fetching the CDN configuration file tact::ClientHandler::Create failed: E_NOT_AVAILABLE To FIX this remove the readonly flag from the folder and it's contents: Rightclick the folder, find the checkbox for the read-only flag, untick (make it empty), then press Ok / Apply.
  6. Greetings people ! So as a Mac user I encountered many many problems while trying to install a working Legion client with a working Launcher, but I finally achieved it so I wanted to share my solution for my fellow mac users. There are 2 ways to install Legion on a mac via Firestorm, both require a working Launcher. How to install the Launcher [MAC] Download the said Launcher on website. If the Launcher works normally from here, do not go to next step. For some people, this will appear and stay indefinitely, Launcher will never open : In this case : Right click on FirestormLauncher.app Click "Show Package Content" Go to Contents > MacOS > FirestormLauncher. This file is a Unix executable, just open it, and it will open the Launcher without problem using Terminal. This is normal, do not close Terminal. When you close the Launcher, you can then close Terminal. For information, you can put the Terminal path directly in your dock, it will open Terminal and Launcher as usual. From this point, you have a working Launcher. You can now install WoW Legion for Mac, and you have 2 ways to do so : How to install WoW Legion [MAC - Launcher required for both solutions] Launcher download : just ask the Launcher to install the Legion game. You'll be able to play while the Launcher downloads the game, it will be long and painful until you have a complete game, but you just have to play. Problem is, you'll often encounter situations when you'll have to wait for the game to download specific zone / spells / textures / actions / ... before being able to do anything. Gotta be patient, but you don't have to worry about anything. Torrent download : this is the tricky part but when done correctly everything work like a charm (I recommend this way) Download the Firestorm torrent from website (yes, it's for PC, but we don't care, and we won't use Wine or other fucking emulator) Download this Mac Client (English). When your downloads are done, open the Mac client folder you just downloaded. You'll find 3 files inside : just drag them in your Firestorm WoW Folder (the torrent). You're gonna be asked if you want to replace the already existing files in your torrent folder : simply accept it. Now if you try to launch the World of Warcraft.app, normally this will appear : This message basically says "the installed mac client is damaged and you should delete it". DO NOT DELETE THE CLIENT, just cancel the message. Open your Launcher (the way I described earlier), go to Legion, and click on "Already installed" just below the big Download button. Select your WoW Folder (the torrent folder with the mac client) : from this point, the Launcher will do his launching stuff and tada, Legion 7.1.5 opens and is 100% working. As I said, I really recommend you to use the torrent download to install the game. Launcher download can be appealing, but is a pain in the ass to complete. Always use your FirestormLauncher Terminal path to open the Launcher, and always open the game client from the Launcher. I know it's a weird solution, but well, it's a working one. Enjoy !
  8. Hello there! I can translate whole firestorm page from English to Polish. And that's all. I will wait for admins response. Bye~

  10. Can you add Legion to launcher for players to pre-download it? I think it is good idea because some people can have slower internet (not me) and have problem with in-game downloading.
