  1. The Closed Beta realm opened on February 11th, 2019! We are going to list several download method and options for downloading the BFA client 8.0.1 depending on your internet speed or your preferencies: Recommended (Method Nº1) Full client 8.0.1 (big initial download but stable client and gameplay): If you want to download and install the BFA 8.0.1 client since the beginning without depending on streamed downloads or slow downloads, this is the option you are looking for. (Torrent): Download the complete World of Warcraft client 8.0.1 for Firestorm using the magnet link that you will find if you click here. You will need a Torrent client in order to be able to process the magnet link properly. You can use uTorrent or Bit Torrent (there are more available clients, though). When installing the Torrent client, beware of the classic "offers" that they pop out on the installer, and make sure you uncheck all of them, since they are unintended software. Once the download is done (52 Gb), you will need to unzip it on the folder you want the game to be located. Do not forget that the folder must have full permissions (read and write) and it must be located on a normal folder (without restringed accesses, like Program Files). If you are using Mac, you will have to unzip as well the file WoW Mac.zip inside your game directory and execute Warcraft.app. If you have any problem related to your client or with your Mac, check this post. If you are using Windows, just execute the file wow.exe. A window will pop out asking you to select the language of the client (this can be changed later), and then the game will open with the starting cinematic. After the game opens, you will have to login using your Firestorm credentials. (Method Nº2) Minimum client 8.0.1 (play instantly but unstable. I want to play NOW!): This method is only useful if you don't have the client 8.0.1 and you want to play as soon as possible, avoiding big downloads. We do not recommend this method if you want to have an optimal gameplay experience since this method will cause you to have higher latency and fps drops during gameplay and accessing new zones. Do not forget that the method one, even though it might take hours to download the game, it will make you able to enjoy the game more, with no errors. This method will make the game to be downloading game files while you are playing. The first loads will be slow and it will depend entirely on your internet speed. It might take between 2 and 20 minutes to open the first time properly. In order to play with the minimum client, we have 2 different options: Option 1 (Firestorm Launcher): You can get the minimum client by using our Firestorm Launcher and play while the game is downloading. Follow the next images in order to see how to use this method properly. Do not forget that you need to download and install the Firestorm Launcher. Option 2 (Mega): Download the client from Mega using this link (for MacOS, you must use this one instead). Once it's downloaded, unzip the file on the folder that you want your client to download, and execute the file wow.exe / Warcraft.app. After that, the client will start downloading the basic files and after a while, it will open the game. If you have any problem related to your client or with your Mac, check this post. The Firestorm Team
