  1. Hello everyone! If you read our announcement about Sethraliss’ 3rd content update, you’re aware that for a little while now, we started working on the development of 8.1 content on a 8.2 client. At first, only a few devs were assigned to it, but now almost all of them are working on it, which also explains why our 8.0 development is lighter now (less tickets in the live changelog is one of the symptoms). In that last announcement done in July, we mentioned that we were aiming for a release mid October: we’re halfway there, so we figured it would be a good time to share with you our progress and aims for the release! The ETA of the release is now the end of October (just a slight delay in 2 months worth of development). In the meantime, we’re still taking care of Sethraliss and making sure our 8.0 version is stable, don’t worry! A few developers are still monitoring it and making sure the important issues are addressed (major spell bugs, main questline / Uldir issues, etc). As we said before, the client itself will be an 8.2 client (the latest we can), but the content we are scripting is the one directly following what you currently have on Sethraliss: 8.1 questlines, zone & raid. We do not wish to skip anything from the content part, but having an 8.2 client will allow us to keep on scripting up to 8.2 without having to update the client again, which is a huge gain of time for us. So do not worry, you won’t miss on anything BFA has to offer! For those that remember our Legion’s development, we did a similar thing when updating our client from 7.1.5 to 7.3.5, without skipping any of the 7.2 content. One thing worth mentioning though is the class balance that will be taken from 8.2 right away when the 8.2 FS client is released. We’re aware that this means you won’t be doing the content with its related balancing, but there are several reasons that made us stick to this choice (again, the same way it was done on Legion): It drastically reduces dev time: between each game version, a lot of balance changes are done, including removal & addition of new traits or spells: Altering one spell for 8.1, and then again when we’d get into 8.2 content would take twice the amount of time. In essence, later versions are often “better” balanced than earlier ones: some bugs or unintended features are fixed, and the strongest classes are usually slightly nerfed while the weakest are buffed, which leads to a healthier state of the game. That point is up for debate, we’re aware, but it still explains why we also believed this was a good approach. For a few weeks now, our Quality Assurance team is focussing on making reports of class changes, and our developers are fixing them. On the side, some QA members are testing the next raid, Battle of Dazar’Alor (most bosses have their main script done, and require feedback for adjustment). As a reminder, you can apply to join our Quality Assurance team and help us bring out the best release possible here! Here is our developer assignment at the moment: 1 dev on Sethraliss monitoring & major bug fixing 3 devs on BoD (one per wing, so 3 bosses each) 2 devs on class fixing 2 devs on the continuation of the war campaign (one for each side) 1 dev on Darkshore 1 dev on PVP invasions Also, as you may have seen for the past months (and still ongoing) we have a few developers that work on low-level zones or older expansion questlines: Gilneas & Kezan have been rescripted, Elwynn Forest is on the way and we also have a developer working on WoD’s main questline: the idea is to then rescript fully a “leveling route” that will allow you to level up from 1 to 110 as easily as you can level up from 110 to 120 on BFA’s questlines. This means, broadly, scripting 1 zone of each level range available where every race can go without too much effort. Now for the more detailed list of what’s planned on our 8.2 client release! Currently on Sethraliss, every 8.0 content short of the Island Expeditions are available. We know we announced them a while ago, but their development got delayed: rest assured, one of our developers is working on them at the moment, and 3 islands should be available at the release! As usual, when doing a client update / new expansion release, a Public Test Realm will be set up so players can test the new contents. 8.2.0 release content at launch: 8.2 Class balance 8.1 War campaign continuation New allied races / Kultiran / Zandalari 1st wing of Battle of Dazar'alor New endgame zone Darkshore Siege of Boralus and Kings' Rest available on Heroic difficulty. PVP Invasions Azerite gear Vendor New Azerite traits Then, from there on we will script content as it was released on retail: 2nd and 3rd wing of BoD, then the full Mythic mode, then the 3rd Raid Crucible of Storms alongside its quests, and finally 8.2 zones. As you noticed, we plan on releasing BoD wing by wing (like we used to on Legion) and not fully at once as we did with Uldir. We initially thought that releasing the raid all at once would help deliver a better experience for players, and this point still stands; but what we underestimated was the impact in terms of workflow: It’s harder to test all the bosses at once for the QA, and harder for the developers as well, who have to make some bug fixes as long as 3 months after the boss was released. On top of that, we saw on Uldir that only a few guilds actually profited from the full release, as most were progressing (in HM at least) at a pace close to 1 wing / month, which is what we plan on doing on BoD. Easier to test & to fix means higher quality, to the “price” of quantity. We thought we could manage it on Uldir, but it wasn’t really conclusive so we’re switching back to the old, more manageable way! FIRESTORM Q&A It’s been a while since we gave you guys the chance to ask us about Firestorm, and the 8.2 client update sounds like a great opportunity! On Tuesday, October 1st 6 PM Server Time, we will be hosting a Questions & Answers on the public discord! Its system will be the same as the previous times: We’ll unlock a channel for you to post questions, then lock it and take time to answer them: there will be about 5 or 6 rounds. Please read carefully everything in this devblog to not waste questions on stuff that we already explained! Thank you for your time! We hope this will shed some light on the 8.2 client update! The Firestorm Staff
  2. Greetings Everyone! Following our latest news regarding the 1st content update on Sethraliss, here comes the release announcement, including detailed information on what's to come, as well as the shipping date: Wednesday, May 8th at 11:00 AM server time! Note: With this release, the realm ilvl cap will be increased to 385. We also received a message from Boris, who returned from a dangerous adventure around the world. He asked us if he could come and say hi, and we didn't dare say no to an old friend! He'll be joining us on all expansions from Friday, May 3rd at 6 PM to Monday, May 6th 11:59 PM (both server time) In this post, we'll be reviewing in detail everything that's gonna be released. Are your seat belts fastened? Alright, let's go! ULDIR Uldir will be fully released (all 8 bosses) in Normal & Heroic Difficulty, plus the 1st wing of LFR: The Halls of Containment (which will include the first 3 bosses listed below). As opposed to what was stated in our previous post, we chose to release the LFR version of the raid wing by wing rather than all at once. The 2nd Wing should be released 2 to 3 weeks later, and the 3rd and final wing 2 to 3 weeks after the second one, alongside the full Mythic difficulty. The ilvl of gear is as follows, with a hard cap at 385 as stated in the introduction: LFR 340+ / Normal 355+ / Heroic 370+. As a reminder, only non-azerite gear can proc. Bosses: Taloc Mother Zek’voz, Herald of N’zoth Vectis Fetid Devourer Zul Mythrax the Unraveler G’huun MYTHIC+ SEASON 1 Mythic + will be added: this means tougher challenges, new affixes, but also better rewards! Push your key to get the best possible gear at the end of the dungeon, and in your weekly chest. Some changes have been made to the MM+ system, here is a list of the most important ones: Azerite armor pieces (Head - Chest - Shoulders) can only be obtained in the Weekly chest, you cannot get them in the end-of-dungeon chest. You cannot swap gear inside the MM+, so you will have to choose your gear prior to entering the dungeon. You can now Bonus roll inside the MM+: the rolled bonus can contain a random piece from the current dungeon, taking into account the key level to define the base ilvl (item can still proc). On top of the system changes, the affixes themselves underwent some changes (including balancing). Here are the most important ones: Tyrannical and Fortified become lvl 2 affixes, which means they will be present on every key now. There is now one special lvl 10 affix each season of MM+. The first one is Infested: every key of lvl 10 or higher will include this affix during the course of the first MM+ season The affixes present on the first week will be: Tyrannical (2) / Raging (4) / Volcanic (7) (number in parenthesis is minimum key level for the affix to be active). The reward system is in essence similar to the one from Legion: The weekly chest reward is based on your previous week best completion, while the end of dungeon reward is based on the current dungeon's key level. Rewards will be as follow. As a reminder, all looted gear except azerite ones can proc, with a hard cap of 385. Rewards: If you want more information about the Mythic + System, you can check here. DREAD GLADIATOR PVP SEASON For those of you that thrive in the heat of PvP fights, start climbing the ladder in 2vs2 and 3vs3: face your opponents on the arena and prove your worth as a champion of Azeroth! This will be the first PvP season and will last until the second raid, Battle of Dazar’alor is released (expected duration is 4-5 months). Here is a list of the most important features of this system: At the end of an arena match, you will have a chance to get a piece of gear, with its ilvl scaling based on your current rating (see below) Winning a rated arena match, or winning your first rated battleground of the day fills up your conquest progression, and will earn you some gear pieces at specific breakpoints: it starts off at an LFR-level and scales up as you progress. If you fill up your conquest bar entirely for the week, you will now be able to get a weekly PvP cache, with its rewards depending on your highest PvP rank (see below): Everything you need to know can be found here. List of rewards for Season 1: (again, only non-azerite gear can proc, up to a hard cap of 385): Rank Rating EoM* Cache** Cache (Azerite Item) Rewards Unranked 0-1399 340 355 355 Combatant 1400-1599 350 365 355 Elite Appearance - Bracer, Belt Challenger 1600-1799 360 370 370 Elite Appearance - Gloves, Legs, Boots Rival 1800-2099 365 375 370 Elite Appearance - Helm, Shoulder, Chest Duelist 2100-2399 370 380 385 Elite Appearance - Cloak Gladiator 2400+ 375 385 385 Elite Appearance - Tabard / Gladiator Title (50 wins) *EoM = End of Match, occasional **Cache = Weekly PVP Chest, available at Hook Point / Mugambala PVP Hubs WORLD BOSSES Each week (rotation happening on Wednesdays), you will get a new World Quest regarding a World Boss: team up with other people to bring them down, and get a chance to loot a 355+ piece of gear! A different one will be available each week, you can learn more about them here. List of scripted World Bosses: T'zane, The Soul Terror Azurethos, The Winged Typhoon Hailstone Construct Ji'arak BORIS Boris is gone, see you soon On top of that, Boris will be visiting all of our realms the weekend preceding the update! From Friday, May 3rd at 6 PM to Monday, May 6th 11:59 PM (both server time), once per account per expansion you will be able to talk to him and ask him for a free boost. This boost will get you to max level (except on Sethraliss, our BFA realm where you will be put lvl 110), and will include some gear and a bit of gold so you can hop straight into the action! This is it, our first update on Sethraliss! We hope everyone will enjoy all the new content that is being released. You guys still have 1 week to fully prepare, so don't waste your time, and let's see which guild climbs the ladder first, which 5 man groups hold the best key record for high MM+ keys, and who's gonna be the uncontested dread gladiator! PS: Following our latest roadmap, and for those interested, there has been some progress! War campaign is almost fully scripted and needs testing now, alongside Siege of Boralus. King's Rest is already fine. Stormsong Valley and Vol'dun are both at around 3/7 chapters done. Testing sessions will begin shortly. Arathi Outdoors is close to being finished as well, and will then need testing. (scenario is not included) Islands Expeditions have been started! Again, there is no set date for now: it's just to give you guys an idea about what's being done behind the scenes development wise! As you can see, all those new contents need testing before being shipped to the live realm; If you're interested in giving a hand, you can apply to become a member of our Quality Assurance team here. That's all for today! We hope you're excited about all this and wish you all good fortune in the wars to come! (And fun too. Fun is important). The Firestorm Team.
  3. Third time's the charm! Following our previous content update, we will be updating Sethraliss on Wednesday, July 31st at 11:00AM server time for our 3rd content update! On top of that, we'll be having a special weekend from Friday, August 2nd at 4:00PM to Monday, August 5th at 11:55PM server time, where all experience gains will be x10! Take this opportunity to level up new alts with friends and discover the new content added! We also wanted to keep you guys posted about 8.2 version, as we've started to work on it: You can expect it to be shipped to live around the MIDDLE OF OCTOBER. This ETA (remember that the E stands for Estimated: this is subject to potential changes) matches retail in terms of release delay, as we'll have had 8.0 patch going for about 6 months. As a reminder, this patch will also put the first PVP & Mythic+ season to an end, starting the 2nd PVP season 'Sinister Gladiator' alongside a new affix for Mythic+ season 2: Reaping! But let's focus first on what this 3rd content update will bring onto Sethraliss! Bring it on!!! ARATHI HIGHLANDS Arathi's zone will be available! A full new zone, including new rare mobs to slain! Each week, the control of the zone will switch faction, allowing the one in control to battle the opposing faction's world boss ! For example, if the Horde is controlling the area, their players will be able to group up to fight the Alliance's World Boss, rewarding 370 ilvl gear! Each Faction has its own World Boss: The Lion's Roar for the Alliance, and Doom's Howl for the Horde. For more information on Arathi's zone, click here. Note: Warfront won't be available in this update. VOL'DUN The last remaining Horde zone, Vol'dun will have its full questline released! World Quests will also be included, which means the Horde territory will now be fully available! FOR THE HORDE! With this zone also comes a new World Boss that will be added in the rotation: Dunegorger Kraulok STORMSONG VALLEY The last remaining Alliance zone, Stormsong Valley will have its full questline released! World Quests aren't ready at this point, but will be added gradually: you will be able to follow those additions on the BFA Live Changelog. With this zone also comes a new World Boss that will be added in the rotation: Warbringer Yenajz DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP Last time we shared was a month and a half ago, here's where we stand now! Island Expeditions are under testing! Currently 3 maps are available: Dread Chain, Skittering Hollow and Rotting Mire. This content should be shipped to live soon, way before the 8.2 with other islands added progressively. This will be that last 8.0 content currently missing! After that, we'll set sail to 8.1 content (see below for more information) The development on old content stuff continues! We're still not sure if we'll make a post for everything that was done, or if we'll add fixes when they are applied on the live changelog, but regardless we will keep you posted about what's worked on! So far, Gilneas has already been applied, and Kezan is under testing. Tanaan Jungle is being scripted, and some old dungeons have been fixed so they can now be completed. The 'Role Check' system is still being worked on: in essence it works, but there are still some slight tweaking to do before we can release it on the live realm. 8.2 is being worked on, with a test realm running. Even though the patch itself will be 8.2, we'll start by scripting the 8.1 content: as stated above, except for the Island Expedition, this 3rd update concludes all content from patch 8.0. We're switching our developers from 8.0.1 version toward 8.2 gradually (a few will stay to ensure Sethraliss gets the attention it needs in the meantime), and focussing our attention first on spell fixing (we already have a list of all changes made on every spells since 8.0.1), as well as the 2nd Raid: Battle of Dazar'Alor, the sequel of our current War Campaign, and PVP invasions! As a reminder, our Quality Assurance team could use your help, especially with the 8.2 patch featuring all its new content! Whether you're more familiar with raids, dungeons, questlines, professions, or classes, you can help us improve the server! You can send your application here (in English) and if you have questions, feel free to ask any admin on discord, or the Head QAs directly (Citryne for PVE side, and Tweek for Class Masters). Thanks for your time, we wish you all good luck & fun while enjoying those new contents! The Firestorm Team.
  4. Greetings! We hope you are having a nice summer! We made some changes to the shop, with some tweaking and additions. While this mostly concerns BFA, every expansion's shop got at least a little something! Let's start off with the BFA exclusive changes: All items in the shop that were still sold as 340 ilvl got updated to 395 ilvl. Some loots from World Bosses & PVP gear that were missing from the shop got added! Lootboxes prices have gone down by 10 Points per lootbox (Mythic dungeon ones at 20, Uldir ones at 30 / piece). New BFA Mounts have been added! They'll be present under the shop category "BFA Mounts". A new category has been added on the BFA shop as well: Upgrader items. Inside, you will find several different 'Upgraders': Tertiary Stat Upgrader (Leech, Speed or Avoidance): Allows you to add a tertiary stat of your choice on an item. Prismatic Socket Upgrader: Adds a prismatic socket on an item. Azerite Booster: Puts your Heart of Azeroth to level 35, unlocking every traits threshold for 8.0.1 content. ilvl Boosters (available in 2 versions: +5 & +15): increases the ilvl of the item you use it on. Only the +15 can be used on Azerite Gear, and none of them can be used on the Heart of Azeroth. You are still limited by the realm ilvl cap. We also heard your complaints that nothing really worth it is available in loyalty points outside of character changes (rename, race / faction change) right now. So we decided to include in this update some new loyalty points purchase options, on 3 specific things: Mythic Dungeon lootboxes (ilvl 365+) Tertiary Stat Upgrader (all 3 different ones) ilvl Booster +5 We hope that with those additions, retrieving your loyalty points daily feels more rewarding. As for the changes regarding all expansions, we reviewed Mounts pricing and downscaled them (a mount that costed between 300 & 350 points before now costs 180 points for example). On top of that, now all mounts in the shop can be part of the weekly promotion (roughly 25% discount). You can check the Firestorm shop through this link. We hope you'll enjoy those changes, and wish you a nice summer end! The Firestorm Team

  6. Greetings! During our previous announcement we told you guys that we'd release one Uldir LFR wing every 2 weeks, and planned on releasing the full Mythic difficulty alongside the release of the 3rd and last wing: last Wednesday, the 2nd wing was released, which means that next Wednesday the final one is to be delivered on live. Well, we're gonna deliver on our promises, with some extras! Uldir Mythic, alongside King's Rest, Siege of Boralus and the full War Campaign will ship to live on Wednesday, June 5th at 11:00 AM Server time! Note: With this update, the realm ilvl cap will be increased to 395. ULDIR MYTHIC The mythic mode of Uldir will be available on all 8 bosses! Be ready to face them all in their true form and battle your way to the top of the ladder, while ending G'huun's corruption once and for all! All bosses will loot base 385 ilvl gear. In Mythic difficulty, the challenge is increased, with some new mechanics on the bosses, be sure to check them before getting into the fray! We grouped them for you here: Taloc Mother Zek’voz, Herald of N’zoth Vectis Fetid Devourer Zul Mythrax the Unraveler G’huun WAR CAMPAIGN The 8.0 War Campaign will be fully released, both Alliance & Horde sides! Since the release, only the Footholds were available: now is the time to continue what you started, and lay waste on the opposing faction! (NB: you need to complete all available Footholds before continuing the War Campaign questline). Horde side: You will be able to get to the 5th chapter 'The Strike on Boralus' Alliance side: You will be able to get to the 5th chapter 'The Strike on Zuldazar' Note: Island Expeditions are still under development, and won't be released with this update. SIEGE OF BORALUS The last Kul Tiran dungeon, Siege of Boralus will be available in Mythic, and Mythic+ difficulties! EDIT: To unlock this dungeon, whether you are Alliance or Horde, you will need to finish the war campaign. KING'S REST The last Zandalari dungeon, King's Rest will be available in Mythic, and Mythic+ difficulties! EDIT: To unlock this dungeon, whether you are Alliance or Horde, you will need to finish the war campaign. DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP Things have evolved since the last time we shared, here are the standings now: Vol'dun is almost fully scripted and will begin testings shortly. Stormsong Valley is a bit behind, but still progressing. Arathi Outdoors' tests have begun, but the contribution system still needs to be implemented & tested. Islands Expeditions are soon finished and will then have to be tested. Some of our developers began working on 'old content' namely Tanaan Jungle questline, as well as Gilneas & Kezan to improve player experience when leveling. One of our devs is working on implementing the 'Role Check' system for PvP queues (the window that pops up asking you to confirm your role for arenas & BGs). It should be testable soon, and after that will be shipped to live. As a reminder, our Quality Assurance team could use your help! Thank you for your time, we wish you all good luck & fun while enjoying those new contents! The Firestorm Team.
  7. Hello everyone, we hope you are all enjoying our newest expansion! We have dedicated all our time and resources to make it the best possible Battle for Azeroth private server, we’re happy with the results so far, and we’re continuously fixing issues that you guys might encounter to make sure the gaming experience is at its best for everyone. Now let’s talk development: When we released the realm Sethraliss, we told you guys that the first big content update would include, among other things, the first wing of Uldir: well there has been some changes! We heard a lot of people complain that, by releasing Uldir wing by wing, it would cut out most of the hype a raid release is supposed to bring: the experience is different than retail, because you would be able to do the first wings several times before reaching G’huun (the final boss) that would be released week later, and the guild race wouldn’t feel the same when you have bosses released 3 by 3, with weeks between them. You probably know where this is going by now: We decided to release Uldir fully in one update, in LFR, Normal & Heroic difficulties (Mythic will be released later, not the next week). Since we have 3 different developers working on the raid, this change of plan won’t actually delay the update by much, and we’re currently expecting to release it late April / early May. As you may guess, releasing the full raid implies heavier testing sessions to make sure that everything works fine: this is made possible thanks to our Quality Assurance team ! If you’re interested and want to help us out, feel free to apply there to join the team! Now let's get to it! ULDIR Uldir will be fully available in Looking for Raid(LFR), Normal and Heroic. 9. Hello, Does anyone have an estimate as to when the server may be stable to play? As of now after updating fully I am only able to play for 5 minutes before getting disconnected, at which time I have to restart my computer to open Firestorm again. How long has it taken on other patches? Is there any way to get notifications for stability (e.g., an thread about the server update by Firestorm themselves)? Thanks
  10. It has been a while since you last posted a changelog aka what has been done/changed to the server...we notice things, but can not be sure until you post it. Also some things get fixed (like npcs/skills) and we can not know if the fix is good is good or not, because we are not notified of any changes...if you wan better feedback from players YOU have to give us also information regarding changes made to the server. In addition, a frequent changelog post gives us players a sense that the server is being worked on, improved. Ninja updates are not good for players' moral, especially lately when its more fail than success with ninja activity,,, Kind regards and hoping for some official feedback PS:'Soon' is NOT any kind of feedback btw
  11. Any predictions for patch 7.2 or 7.2.5? patch 7.1.5 is already obsolete and tedious.
  12. I really like feral druid but as you may know its shit in 7.15, and 7.2 was also a great update on live servers, when are we getting this update? thx
  13. dear admin team I don't have FB page and I am not planning to use it we have already nice forum here in forum we have "changelog " section or " announcement" section etc etc and ppl normally checking forum to getting info about server /realm in this case we are checking forum for getting info why server offline or other stuff and there is nothing about it can you write in forum pls instead FB. best regards
  14. So I downloaded the entire game client and then went on to download the launcher. After opening the launcher it started updating and got to about 80 percent of the update. However, after that it just stopped and has been stuck like that ever since. I have tried restarting the launcher and re-installing it, but in all cases, it just starts from the beginning and then gets to a certain point and stops. It still shows it's "downloading" but the bar does not progress. Could someone please offer some assistance.
  15. The new update is coming soon, just wanted to ask a few question about it. 1. How big is the Update(in terms of gig)? 2. Will there be missing content(like obliterum forge and Class hall quests) added with the update? 3. Can we even take on the raid with the current state of iLvl's and missing relic slots? or are the bosses gonna be toned down to make easier for us? Thanks for answering!
  16. update

The last cupdate reads Items Fixed Scavenged Cloth. Fixed Found Sack of Gems. Fixed Harvested Goods. Fixed Butchered Meat. Fixed Salvaged Armor. Fixed Mana-Tinged Pack. Fixed Bloodhunter's Quarry. Fixed Darkmoon "Tiger". What do you intend with FIX? I droped by having Boon of Harvester the harvested Goods and they were working fine. Now they don't even drop at Blizzar rates that are close to zero like 18 packs on 1000 kills. Can you please explain dev what fixed means? Thanks
  17. how can we upgrade Heirlooms in Grommash PVP? i need to update to lvl 100.
  18. This is starting to get annoying, and I hope i'm not the only one feeling this way, It's the 3rd time i'm having this issue. I try to log, and the realm list is empty. I'm unable to play everyday, be my guest, i got witcher 3 and fall out 4 on pc and some ps4 games i run around during this december. I'd really like that the staff give some consideration to us, players and stop changing realmlist without any announcement made else announcement which sticks around for at least 3-4days can be newsworthy to the 'ingame' community. Not only is that confusing to know where to access the server from, but in the long run , you'll end up losing players thanks to this bad practice. Most private servers which are efficiently managed stick to 1 single realmlist so people know where to log, It's good you do weekly update but you can do so without changing the access path to the server. Hope to see some professionalism soon. Thanks for reading.
  19. Requirements: (If you don't have these, I can't help you) - WoW version 6.1.2 (So basically the version we all played on before the newest 6.2.3 update was released) - A Battlenet account , with Battlenet launcher . (http://eu.battle.net/en/) - A portable hard disk spacious enough to hold 2x WoW folders lol P.S: If launcher deleted your whole game and you don't have a copy of 6.1.2 saved somewhere , then apparently devs can't help you nor can I , you will have to redownload the whole game again and this guide won't help. Steps: 1- Go to where your World Of Warcraft folder is located (Probably Program Files x86) , Copy and Paste it on your hard disk in a new folder called "6.1.2 Copy". It usually takes 20 -25 minutes. 2- Now that you have your 6.1.2 copy in a safe place, you can open the BattlenetLauncher (Downloaded from the link above) Wait until the "Starting battle.net" bar loads up. 3- Login with your Battlenet account 4- When you open it it will tell you something like "Your WoW folder has been detected. Tick the game for auto updates". Make sure you UNTICK WoW and continue (We don't want auto-updates) 5- You will see a big button called "Update". Click it and wait until it updates your game to the latest version (which is 6.2.3) It's around 2.8 - 3GB so you have to wait until everything is downloaded correctly. You will know if you see a button called "Play" 6- Now that you have finished your download, you can close Battlenet launcher. And now Step 2 again - Copy and paset your World of warcraft folder on your hard disk, this time in a folder called "6.2.3 Copy". Now that you have both WoW copies: 7- Open your firestorm launcher wait for it to update. At the same time, go to your WoW folder , right click it , and go to properties. The size of the folder has to be 30 GB + , if it's reduced to less than 5 GB , then you have to close everything, take the 6.2.3 copy of your hard disk and replace your low-size WoW folder with it. If that happened, download the newest Firestorm launcher from Firestorm's website and run it again . (This time, it will probably ask you to identify your WoW folder, when you do , repeat the step 7.) 8- When it says "Play" in the firestorm launcher , click it and it will open . If you get a few d/cs after choosing a character to log in with , keep logging in until you are playing Post here if you have any problems or errors, I'm actually sad to see that no staff member suggested that (Maybe 1 of them did but in a 20 page post , and not News/Annoucements section) Just FYI, I figured this method alone.
  20. WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH THE SERVERS TO BE INFORMED WHEN A SERVER IS DOWN ... WHEN AN UPDATE TAKES TOO LONG ! AND AN ESTIMATED TIME WHEN WE CAN PLAY THE GAME AGAIN !
  21. As you may know blizzard announced that they are updating to 6.2.3 on November 17th (in 3 days from now). And that will be the end of the current arena season aswell. Peluche said that Ashran will be updated to 6.2 when 6.2.3 goes live on retail. So we should be updating to 6.2 in 3 days? Here's the blizz post: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/19955745 I hope Peluche stands by his words
  22. Hi, I would really appreciate if a GM would update all the users over forums when at-least the server is down or any other issue which relates to alot of users. I understand that the GM's get busy with working on to fix the issue, It you would really be nice if you could update that on forums so the users know that your actually know your working to fix the issue and not post nasty comments over new threads or even worse leave the server.I know 2 who have already left they were both good friends of mine IG. I believe there would be alot others who would agree to this topic.
