Emerald Nightmare - Heroic and Mythic!

Hi everybody!

Starting today or tomorrow, Emerald Nightmare will be opened in Heroic and Mythic difficulties for some weeks of tests purpose!

Of course, a test period always means that you won't be able to receive any kind of reward for killing bosses in those difficulties, no loot, no achievement and no points for legendary items. The only thing you'll receive is the satisfaction to help our development team by reporting encountered issues.

If you encounter any kind of issue, you can send us a report this way:

  • Raid difficulty: Normal, Heroic.
  • How to reproduce the issue: Just doing nythendra, in the modes that i told.
    • What happened: When the boss are casting "Heart of the Swarm", the insect that spawn, explote when we step over this insects, they explote instant.
    • What should happen on retail: Should explote random the insects, not when we step over them.
  • Screenshot, video record or anything else that might bring more details on your report.

If you see the image, u could see a lot of insects exploting around our teammates. Until 4-6 insects exploting in same time.

And if you see this fragment of video, you can see like the members of the raid, step over the insects, but that, not explote instant, just explote random, when they want do. (The audio of video is on spanish, just mute the video and watch that i'm talking).

    • What happened: When cast "Infested Breath", left infested ground behind or around the boss.
    • What should happen on retail: Should left infested ground, only in the direction that the boss are when he is casting the hability or under the boss.

Look the infested ground, around the boss. I have only screenshot, but always left more than 1 infested ground behind the boss.

And, in the next video (audio in spanish, mute the video if you want), u could see like the Infested Breath, only leave infested ground in the direction that the boss cast the spell. In that direction, or under the boss, but not leave infested ground behind the boss like in Firestorm.

Raid difficulty: Normal

Boss (Dragons of Nightmare)

Issue Num.1

How to reproduce the issue: Fight the boss.

What happened: Lethon does not cast Siphon spirits from time to time.

What should happen on retail: Lethon should cast Siphion Spirit, which should spawn spirits out of the players group that are the most futher from him, and they will start walking twoards Lethon slowly, These mobs should be CCable, Stunable,etc If they reach Lethon, Each one of them will heal him and Ysondre for 1 Million HP

 

Issue Num.2 

How to reproduce the issue: Fight the boss

What Happend: Shades of Taear - Spawns only 1 Imige of him self, and missing spells.

What should happen on retail: Shades of Taear should spawn 2 Imiges of him self that should spawn next to him on each side, They should be casting Corrupted Breath from time to time as the boss does, However, they should NOT cast Tail Sweep.

Raid difficulty: Normal

Boss: Ursoc

How to reproduce the issue: Fight the boss

What happened: Ursoc does not apply Momentum debuff to everyone that is hit by Focuzed Gaze charge, only half of the group.

What should happen on retail: Everyone who is in the way of Focused Gaze and is impacted by Ursoc, should get debuffed by Momentum.

Boss: Elerethe Renferal

Issue Num.1

How to reproduce the issue: Possible Slows, CCs, Positioning of the boss durning liftoff.

What happened: The boss sometimes flies slowly in the air to another platform in some cases, same applies for Wild Ambush, she ascend way too slowly.

 

Issue Num.2 

How to reproduce the issue: Possible durning Wild ambush, Boss possible goes out of a boss area, and resets couse of it.

What happened: When Boss does Wild Ambus, she just resets.

Boss: Xavius

How to reproduce the issue: Be a tank.

What happened: Nightmare Blades should not target Tanks.

 

Issue Num.2 

How to reproduce the issue: Gain Corruption.

What happened: When player reaches 33 Corruption, No Dread Abomination spawns(Prolly vissual issue), however the Smash that it does happens, but niether the smash has a visual AoE around the room.

 

Issue Num.3 

How to reproduce the issue: Fight

What happened: Inconceivable Horrors when they die, the Tainted Discharge pool should get smaller and smaller when player is soaking it untill it fully dissapears.

 

Issue Num.4

How to reproduce the issue: Fight

What happened: Corruption: When Player reaches 66 Corruption. Unfathomable Reality damages the player, but the visual of it is invisible.

 

Issue Num.5 

How to reproduce the issue: Fight

What happened: After the Dream buff expires/Player gets killed, all his mana should get refilled as well as all his CDs should reset. EXEPTION IS TIME WARP HEROISM, AND BLOODLUST! Those should not reset.

 

Issue Num.6

How to reproduce the issue: Fight

What happened: Xavius does not gain Nightmare Infusion when he reaches second phase, which should debuff his main target which gains 5 Corruption Per melee attack that Xavius does to him

 

Issue Num.7 

How to reproduce the issue: Fight

What happened: The Infinite dark in the mist deals no damage. Also, When the screen fades to black, and the person gets back into the light of the room, the Screen will remain black untill the reset of the fight.

100% , xavius is the most bugged boss specially that black screen.

Boss : Illgynoth , heart of corruption(normal)

issue : Sometimes When you kill the Eye and join the chamber before the animation of eye completely fades , You will not be able to attack illgynoth , it says not in line of sight

Boss : Xavius

How to reproduce the issue: Fight boss to 2 phase and wait for adds.

What happened: Inconceivable Horrors they should not walk even if they are stunned to the boss.

What should happen on retail: Inconceivable Horrors should stay in place when are stunned.

Boss: Il'gynoth, the Coruptor

Raid difficulty: NormalHow to reproduce the issue: Die inside Il'gynoth, when Dark Reconstruction ends or someone get inside to too fast, like rogues Death From Above.

What happened: After hearts is killed no one gets loot, achievement nor id.

What should happen on retail: Everyone should get loot etc.

The stupidity of the players on this forum is astounding. The developer clearly asks for feedback regarding Heroic and Mythic mode and yet people start reporting bugs for normal mode. The bugtracker exists for a reason.

Most of these issue come from Normal Difficulty in the first place, So if a Mechanic is missing in Normal, it will be as well broken on HC/Mythic unless it changes a rotation of spells, such as Ursoc, which is almost undoable on HC, since his frequent casting of Multiple spells at the same time.

So far, everything from Heroic works perfectly fine, the most issues are from Normal Difficulty Mechanics, and if you cant understand that, Please, restrain your self from futher comments on this subject.

PS. Where exactly does it say that they want only HC/Mythic? I only see the title that HC/Mythic is released for testing, i dont see anywhere, we should not report issues from Normal.

Ill try to explain this in layman's terms. While you are correct that some bugs from normal mode will carry onto heroic and mythic mode, the whole point of this thread was to test heroic and mythic raid difficulty.  Emerald Nightmare will be opened in Heroic and Mythic difficulties for some weeks of tests purpose!  This thread was created to receive feedback regarding the additional mechanics that will be added in these new modes. Below the first statement is even a format for reporting any issues or bugs and how they should work properly. The developers are aware of the bugs on normal mode since people already flooded the bugtracker with them. Also as far as private servers go if the bugs are minor and still allow you to kill the boss, they wont be prioritized.

PS. I've said this before but the bugtracker exists specifically for cases like normal mode.

Issue : When taerar swap with lethon , Sometimes lethon stay stationary and cant be moved , and he dont cast any spell

RAID DIFF - HC
Same problem on HC ,also a lot of visual effect bugs  
HC
And  issues num 7.  Dreamstate interaction with 100coruption +  dmg increase
 Issues 8. - Problem with    dreamstate selection ..   Its total random  .. and sometimes  healers  will not get  dreamstate..
 Issues 9.    problem - Boss is casting blades on TANK!  , also hitbox of  blades  looks bad.

  Items  from normal diff should be  850ilvl-865ilvl ,but  now   its only 850-860. Idk why :)

Items can titanforge-warforge incrasing the base item level

ya but i got item with 850+ item level not 860 or  855 (which should be in case of warforge or titanforge)

When will the loot be entered into the heroic level?

p.s 2 weeks then long gone, you need to do fixes and put loot.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all of your reports. I was on vacations during two weeks, so I didn't work on Emerald Nightmare fixes, but I'm back since Monday, so those are the fixes that are gonna be applied soon on live realm!

  • Nythendra:
    • Infested Ground now spawns correctly in Infested Breath cone, instead of all around the boss
    • The boss now enrages after 10 minutes in normal mode, and 8 minutes in heroic and mythic mode
  • Elerethe Renferal:
    • In heroic mode, each Venomous Pool absorbed by Twisting Shadows now triggers two damaging missiles on random player's locations
    • You shouldn't be thrown in the air anymore when being hit by a melee attack with Shimmering Feather
  • Ursoc:
    • In heroic mode, each summoned double should now have a big damaging pool around it
    • Momentum should be applied correctly to all players in Ursoc's path
  • Dragons of Nightmare:
    • Add weekly dragons rotation (except for mythic mode)
    • Fix Spirit Shade summoned by Lethon
    • Dark Offering cannot crit anymore
    • Lethon now uses Gloom every 3.5 seconds (was 1 second)
    • Shade of Taerar doesn't cast Tail Sweep anymore
    • Shade of Taerar now uses Corrupted Breath every 18 seconds (was 30 seconds)
    • There are now 2 summoned Shades of Taerar (was 1)
    • Nightmare Bloom now despawns after 30 seconds of soaking
    • Nightmare Blast is now used by Ysondre every 16 seconds (was 15)
  • Cenarius:
    • Cleansed Ground should now correctly remove the Creeping Nightmares debuff
  • Xavius:
    • Nightmare Blades is now casted every 15 seconds (was 16)
    • Tanks should now be ineligible targets for Nightmare Blades
    • The Infinite Dark debuff is now correctly removed when out of the mist
    • Corruption: Crushing Shadows visual should now be fully fixed
    • Corruption: Crushing Shadows shouldn't deals negative damages anymore
    • Corruption: Unfathomable Reality visual should now be fully fixed
    • Cooldowns are now correctly reseted after being awaken from the dream
    • Dream Simulacrum shouldn't end anymore after using Vanish or Feign Death
    • Players shouldn't be able to be in the dream twice at the same time anymore
    • After Xavius death, players are now teleported back into the dream, Cenarius wants to speak with them
